I had PS2 and i bought around 100 or so pirated cds and only a handful of original ones. Same with PSP. And DS entirely piracy. Problem is the wage in India is way too low to be able to afford original discs all the time. Its not like usa. For them a $60 game is like 1% of their monthly income, here is more like 20% This fact cannot be ignored.

It's not just that about money about Indian lifestyle for normal salaried and even middle class small business people revolves around taking care of the family and lot of other things so that disposable income specially one is talking about RS 2k-3k games thats like whole month of ration and more for a small middle class family..... Steams indian pricing is very reasonable.....these companies like Nintendo,Sony, Microsoft should also look into this if they really care for video game growth in India...piracy will always be there but it can be well fought also....I don't care to pirate pc games these days because i know i can get games i want to play quite cheap on steam and those purchases don't hurt....to be blame just consumers for piracy is never going to improve situation these companies also have to step in....anyways tbh Nintendo is similar in all markets they in a way never fit in developing countries ....i think even in China they did not do well..correct me if i am wrong... Yeah steam and PC retail discs is the reason why i started buying genuine pc games. Good value for money price. I buy during those 60-80% off sales. No reason to pirate anymore except for some games which don't receive discount on PC and publisher does not care about PC version like call of Duty, etc
l33tmaniac
It's become crazy these days. 4.5k for a new ps4 game. I dunno what's going in their heads. Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk Exchange rates. And you can't have regional pricing as it may just lead to people selling Indian copies for higher prices abroad. Blame it on the weak INR

Sent from my ONE E1003 using Tapatalk Isn't so bad when you buy it at 4.5 then sell off at 3.5? That's one benefit. Resale value is good. CarbonCore
Who buys games for 4.5k? I haven't bought it for more than 3k since forever, and usually less than 2k.

Steam kaise itna meherbaan hogaya Indian gamers par achanak se lol. Slackerninja we need answers.

I thought he was talking about physical disc prices Steam's regional prices are generally lower for older games or for indie games. New AAA games generally retail for much higher more or less equivalent to what is charged for a retail PC game disc. Also, if Sony were to implement regional pricing, then we will all be banned for buying games from other region stores like Steam does. I guess you bought it near it's launch date and hence, just the vanilla version for that price, which is not worth it. The one along with the expansions is a steal at that price, I feel, since I ended up buying it when ttk was launched and didn't mind spending 2k more on roi, since it was worth it. I still stick to this game, despite having a huge backlog of other games. Sad to see that the player base has deflated, though Sent from my Redmi 3S using Tapatalk

Lol I bought it at launch for 3700 something and sold it for 3200 something after a week. I liked it but my internet was very unreliable at that time so had to sell it. WhiteWolf
I also liked the gunplay nd all but garbage loot system, poorly designed repetitive missions like kill super hard Boss and one super hard mini Boss within 30 secs of each other or you will fail and no matchmaking for Raids and Nightfall made me super angry. Don't have enough skilled Destiny friends to play Raids with ? Go beg on LFG sites and then create a schedule nd all.. Bc video game khelney k liye time table set karo. Lol I play games for fun not to stress my self. Bungie invented matchmaking with Halo 2 but forgot to add in their own Destiny lol. I know many people love Destiny and will defend it all cost but nothing will change my opinion. That game sucks and if you like that game then f**k you for liking Destiny and defending Bungie. Thank you. Edited January 25, 2017 by WhiteWolf

Thank you. You do know that there are enough players that were brainy enough to check the reviews and wait and then bought the game on sale and started liking it afterwards. Just a thought. Not all the games are meant to be bought at launch. Bf4 is another example Sent from my Redmi 3S using Tapatalk
