I am looking forward for Ninja Gaiden collection from all these games. Might or might not play Skyward Sword. I wish for them to release another "NEW" top view Zelda. Probably won't happen for a while.

blitzkreiig
^ Wii U to gaya bhai. Besides that tablet keeps disconnecting in the same room as the console...the functionality of Switch is exemplary.

Jupiter
I was thinking about the time gap between each Nintendo console release today. Console Name | Release Year Gap Nintendo Entertainment System 1985 ------- Super Nintendo 1991 6 years Nintendo 64 1996 5 years Gamecube 2001 5 years Wii 2006 5 years Wii U 2012 6 years Switch 2017 5 years Next Nintendo console? 2022 or 2023? This probably explains why we have no news regarding Metroid 4 or BoTW 2. It might be possible that these games will release very late in Switch's lifespan to simultaneously release on Nintendo's next console with enhanced features such as 4k. They did this with BotW, announcing it for Wii U but delaying it a lot to bring it out on Switch as well. I feel that Nintendo Switch was just a console to overcome the Wii U's commercial failure. They almost moved the whole Wii U's library to the Nintendo Switch. Of course they also gave a few new titles such as Odyssey and Luigi's Mansion 3. I do not expect much on Switch anymore, I think they have been so secretive and selective because everything is being developed for the next console, which could possibly mean a very strong launch line-up for Nintendo's next. All the brand new games built from scratch are probably not happening on Switch now! except Metroid 4 and BoTW 2. I also think 2023 would be a bit too late to strategically compete against Sony's current gen. I strongly feel that next Nintendo console will land in 2022! It might not be the Pro model for Switch but actually a brand new console. They won't make the same mistake as they did with the transition from Wii to Wii U. I speculated a lot in this and I could be wrong! Edited February 21, 2021 by Jupiter
blitzkreiig
Yeah might just happen, but I really hope they don’t stray far from the “Switching” functionality.

If you see, nintendo handhelds always sell well, so yes switch was no accident. it was a well thought assault on ps4 and xbone.
