KnackChap Posted February 20, 2017 Report Share Posted February 20, 2017 finished it today. what a fantastic game. its just perfect. pros: - amazing story. one of the best stories in the last 5 or so years. has its fair share of twists and turns. at its heart its a fairly simple and straighforward story like naughty dog's games but the execution and presentation of the material is top notch. the story will make you laugh, cry and by the end of it you'll be wanting revenge like the protag's. no need to have knowledge of prior games to enjoy it is a bonus. - presentation is incredible throughout. from the superbly directed cutscenes to the phenomenal performances from the characters. even though the game is fully voiced in japanese there are moments in the game where you'll choke up despite not understanding a single word. the game also has a very clean look to it despite having cross gen roots. - lots and lots to do throughout the game. gambling dens, bowling, baseball, karaoke, dancing, fishing, phone dating, darts, watching erotic video and lots lots more. you'll never be short of finding stuff to do. - sidequests are some of the best since the witcher 3. can last from 5 mins to 20 mins. mostly hilarious and has you doing a bunch of cool stuff like being a producer to a superstar's bodyguard. they are some of the games top moments. - the 2 business you get to run in the game arr addictive. real estate and cabaret club. cabaret club is better imo and can easily spun off into a portable ios/android experinece. both also come with their own bunch of sub stories and bosses. - combat styles. there are 6 different combat styles, 3 per character with their own upgrades and finishers. there is something for everyone. only cons i could find is some of the visuals esp those of npc look dated as hell and a couple of minor design issue. no game has had me hooked as this in the past few years. i've already played for about 50 hours and can easily sink another 30 hrs plus into doing the sidequest and other stuff. one of the best single player campaigns and the best ps4 game yet. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Last game i finished was RnC, so not only japanese games I will get Horizon, eventually but Yakuza 0 is lot more appealing to me. I don't think you will like Horizon coz there are lot of Farcry elements in the game. You collect and craft lot of items including fast travel items lol.
