WhiteWolf
If tomorrow some young talented guy wants to make a good proper MGS game, will Kojima bhakts support it? No,they will not coz Konami will publish it without Kojima.

Heaven Angel
The game sold less than 8000 copies. The Steam average is 69% positive. Your beloved Metacritic (and OpenCritic) is sitting at 64. User score at 1.6. Only retarded sites like playstationlifestyle gave it 8.5 while everyone rated it below 6. Would be lower if it didn't have Metal Gear in the title. "Enjoying" Gamespot - Metal Gear Survive Review: Too Harsh To Enjoy THE GOOD Defending against waves of Wanderers feels tense and exhilarating Hitting enemies with weapons is satisfying At times, the loop of gathering, crafting, and upgrading can feel rewarding, especially when improving your base THE BAD Health, thirst, and oxygen deplete too aggressively Enemies are uninteresting to the point where it's better to avoid them Story is forgettable 5/10. Yeah, you go and sit and defend waves of brain-dead AI. Lazy piece of garbage attempt to cash in on Metal Gear name. They itself knew it was so garbage that they didn't bother spending a dime on marketing.

Heaven Angel
Steeping on diarrhoea is more pleasant than paying and playing this sh*t game. Bad on every level, from animations, core mechanics and progression. Not to mention its pay to skip option, which shows this game's true worth. This looks as fun as wanking off with sandpaper
CarbonCore
I've never seen WAB dude use such colorful words to describe a game, must be a Kojima cultist. 2 hours ago, WhiteWolf said: But Kojima fan following is crazy. If you remove the number copies bought by supposed Kojima cult from sales the game will plummet further in the charts
Heaven Angel
Oh, boy, hilarious and more entertaining than the game. Story: Motherbase from MGS V gets destroyed -> portal opens -> ZOMBIES. That's it. Collect food, water....and OXYGEN. That crafting system. The AI is so brain-dead...that they don't even know to go around the fence. Just stand and clutter near fence instead. BORING! GODDAMN BORING! The brain will fall out via ears due to boredom. 2/10. EPIC FAIL SEAL APPROVED.
CarbonCore
OMG did they just patch it so you get even less rewards and break weapons even faster? Man this game I feel sorry for giving NFS Payback hard time for its grind, especially when they fixed in patches and went overboard with rewards. WhiteWolf
So people are saying Konami charging for save slot to save progress? I think charge is for creating extra character save loadout for 2nd playthrouh. Also SV points are given daily as login rewards. Some people are spreading false information by saying Konami charging for creating extra save slot to save progress. I don't like it but people should not spread false information. Heaven Angel
How is this FALSE info? What are you smoking? http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-02-23-yes-you-really-do-have-to-pay-for-an-extra-character-slot-in-metal-gear-survive https://www.polygon.com/2018/2/23/17042242/metal-gear-survive-sv-coins-boosts-character-save-slots-micotransactions-konami Yes, you really do have to pay for an extra character slot in Metal Gear Survive Metal Gear Survive’s extra character save slots cost $10 In exchange for 1000 SV coins - around £7.99, seeing as that's how much a bundle of 1150 coins will cost you - you unlock access to an additional character slot. And that's the only way you can access an additional character slot. Purchasing additional character save slots in Metal Gear Survive requires spending SV Coins, the game’s unique currency. Konami is selling those coins in batches as small as 100 (for $0.99) up to 6,000 (for $49.99). Unlocking an additional save slot requires dropping 1,000 SV Coins, which means you’ll have to pay roughly $10. (And if you do pay $9.99, you’ll get 1,150 SV Coins. There’s no option to just buy a nice, round 1,000 coins to unlock an additional character save.) Some of those boosts effectively increase your character’s experience points. Buy a Premium Boost Pass, and you’ll earn more energy from enemies (which in turn is spent to upgrade your character), among other perks. Premium Boost Passes cost 200 SV Coins for a 24-hour boost and up to 2,400 coins for a 60-day pass. And if you want to upgrade storage for your custom weapons or have more than four loadouts for your character in co-op multiplayer, you can spend SV Coins on that too. Upgrading your weapons storehouse is a shockingly high 500 SV Coins. Garbage asset flip with $10 for save slot.
WhiteWolf
Some people were saying that you have to purchase save slot to create additional save slot to save your game progress which is not true. You have to spend money to unlock extra loadout slot for your character. This is not required to complete the main game. This is only for coop if you want to try different characters with different loadout.

CarbonCore
Game bombed hard in Japan, only place where it had some chance. It could've been the Chapter 3 DLC for MGSV made by KJP, one that ends with final boss fight with Solid Snake and give BB the final closure. They could've sold it for $40 retail disk like GZ, and it would've sold millions. But nope, Konami had to kill their golden goose and then sell fking save slots for $10 like a chindi chor. Those are required for character save slot in coop only. Totally optional and not required main s.p game. https://googleweblight.com/i?u=https://www.usgamer.net/articles/second-character-slot-in-metal-gear-survive-will-cost-you-10-dollars&hl=en-IN Daily login rewards now give you 60 SV points. Heaven Angel
To create a new character for a second playthrough however, you’ll have to shell out $9.99 or £7.99 on the PSN, Xbox Store, or Steam for Survival Coins, the microtransaction currency of Metal Gear Survive. If you share your PSN/Xbox Live/Steam account with a family member, each additional player will need to part with $9.99 in order to play with their own character. Spending this amount of cash will net you 1,150 SV Coins, 1,000 of which you’ll need to spend on the title screen of the game if you want to unlock a second character for an additional playthrough of Metal Gear Survive. While you can modify the way your character looks in the Base Camp area of Metal Gear Survive, you can’t change their gender, meaning that if you want to switch up part way through your playthrough, you’ll need to start all over again. Although you can delete your avatar from the main menu of Metal Gear Survive, it’ll cost you to run two characters in conjunction. LMAO! Can't even change your gender without paying. Can't even play the second playthrough. But don't worry. Here are your 60 SV points for daily login. Only a dumbarse retard will say it's okay to charge $10 for an extra slot in a game you already paid. And $10 EVERY SINGLE TIME. Hey, let's play co-op with X guy. $10. Someone shows up and wants to play fresh co-op. Oops, that will be another $10. ROFL.
WhiteWolf
I'm not saying it's ok or they are doing right thing by adding these microtransactions, I'm just posting correct information coz some people are confusing optional character save slot for creating different loadout with game progression save slot. This system was also used in MGSV online or MGO. And I doubt people will create multiple characters in this game coz first playthrouh itself includes crazy amount of grind and takes hours of to complete all missions.
