Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC takes full advantage of the power of the PC to bring every corner of this massive, rich and detailed world to life from the windswept snowy peaks of the Grizzly Mountains to the dusty roads of Lemoyne; from the mud-spattered storefronts of Valentine to the cobbled streets of St Denis. New graphical and technical enhancements for deeper immersion include increased draw distances for better navigation; higher quality global illumination and ambient occlusion for improved day and night lighting; higher quality snow trails, improved reflections and deeper, higher resolution shadows at all distances; tessellated tree textures and improved grass and fur textures for added realism in every plant and animal.

Minimal requirements aren't demanding, a low-mid range PC would run this just fine.

I am bit low at cpu end, do you think I will able to manage 60fps with high setting (less than ultra or top end) ?

Not surprised about the pricing, but 3.1k is a bummer for me. I know that we are getting two games for free with it, but with the 150GB download and pricing (being > current price on consoles), makes me want to pick up the One X version over the PC one.

I thought 3.1k is steam regional price, for Rockstar Launcher we need to pay 59.99 USD (4,267 INR)

Any idea about Steam regional pricing for this game ? I am assuming in range of 2300 - 3000 INR

I would expect this to be for 2799-2999 on steam  similar to Cyberpunk..

Edit: It shows 3199 in Rockstar launcher itself now..

Also, is there going to be physical edition? Have amazon pay balance I would like to use for this game..

You might need to lower some CPU intensive graphical options to achieve that sweet 60 fps.

If you have no issue to play on 30 than you'll get that max settings.

I think for single player campaign 30fps minimum will be fine, its important that minimum fps should not drop below 30 fps. I dont mind dialing down few settings here and there. For multiplayer I will go 60 fps+. BTW I got a AOC c24g1 Va panel 144hz freesync monitor, I have to see how I feel the game at higher fps. For example at Batman Arkham Knight, I see 90+ fps and game feel smooth during combat which a crucial part of the game to enjoy.

I think for normal exploration anything above 30 fps is fine however in combat more fps is better..I wish we can set the game that way, something like priority mode, setting minimal fps and let the game adjust the setting dynamically accordingly to the on going activity in the game

That's exactly why I am hesitant to buy on PC. I already own the first game on backwards compat. So, X will be the RDR home :D
