Tyler Posted October 31, 2017 Report Share Posted October 31, 2017 Hmmm, not impressed by the trailer tbh. Way too torture-porn-y and seems to be focused on the wrong aspects from the first game. I understand they want to do something like "The Road" where humans are far more dangerous than anything else but this felt gratuitous as hell. I liked TLOU for it's lush "destroyed beauty" theme and this trailer being set in some nondescript forest at night didn't do anything for me. Then again, this is just a short look but if they're going to focus on the brutality and gore aspect, especially for a first proper reveal, then it's not a good sign. Also it wasn't as graphically impressive as first reveal, or even UC4. Right till the end I kept thinking its that other Bend studio zombie game until the clickers showed up. That's what I took from the first game, and this was a good reveal. Savage, graphic, wince inducing. Also, "clip her wings", could they be the fireflies? Super, super excited for this game. I don't want a chunk of the game playing these newbies unless they hop along with Joel and Ellie. Although its too early but getting a feeling this can go wrong.
