The Basement level of the Hotel in TLOU was total cancer, all these stalker haramis hide , and hide in groups, you go to "investigate" then suddenly 5 are on you :rofl:

 

btw what is the lore reason for Stalkers behaving the way they do? Runners and Clickers bite and maul and are done with it, Bloater will either throw his pus grenades or go straight for the kill if you're close enough.

This whole hide and ambush thing is very big brained, unexpected from random fungus

I am already dreading such a section in TLOU2 but most are saying it's a lot worse in this (as in more intense sections than generator one). That section in TLOU1 actually played mind games with me, 1st playthrough was fine, 2nd/3rd one on harder difficulties I was like, voh aayega, voh aayega, dekho voh aa gaya. :suicide:

Only two times i freaked out in this game, one is this generator room where you start it and magically bloater teleports into the doorway :rofl:

then 5 stalkers run after you :rofl:

 

Second is the one with two bloaters in the last end of the tunnel

I don't even remember the first game having stalkers. They're nothing like the one's present here. 

 

As for the generator room  type section..... In this game,  Imagine it being  expanded from just a room to a whole building with multiple section and taking hour or so to clear. ?

Done with the PLAT ! Took until the descent level in Round II on Hard Plus mode to get there.. Cherry on the cake also was able to nail the parking lot Boss, I was really dreading but went with full ammo and Bombs and nailed it.. Real Respect for people playing on Surviror and Nailed this Boss.,

The first game had runners,no stalkers.

Just finished. Finally. There’s a lot of fat in this game. A lot of bloat. It’s a fantastic experience, but there’s so much that the game could’ve done without. 
 

Fav sequences:

 

Ellie and Dina escape from train platform, the museum, that whistle and arrow to the shoulder;

when Abby meets the siblings and after, the building leading up to the hospital, the hospital, the sniper escape.

 

Enjoy the full credits. The music is sublime. Especially this; sung by Joel and Ellie.

Of course the first game had stalkers. I clearly remember one part with them. Darker than usual rooms and Stalkers ready to attack. It was crazy. I forget which area of the game that is in. But that's the thing, I don't remember about Stalkers apart from that section. That's how limited they were in the first game.

 

In the second game, however, oh man... They're a different thing altogether.
