WhiteWolf
Started the dlc. So far really enjoying it. Gladariel powers are lot of fun to use.
Heaven Angel
__ Destructoid: 6/10. Shadow of War had a gamey quality to it and a fanfiction plot that had some moments of surprise. Blade of Galadriel is much more to the point, without much of the same flair -- either the good or the bad. Slightly above average or simply inoffensive. Fans of the genre should enjoy it a bit, but a fair few will be left unfulfilled. Meh as expected.
WhiteWolf
Completed the dlc. I enjoyed it. If you like base game then you will like it. It take place in main campaign area with new orcs to fight.
ALPHA17
Meanwhile, Warner Brother removes microtransactions, says the game undermines the Nemesis System,
CarbonCore
https://community.wbgames.com/t5/Official-Announcements/Important-Free-Updates-Coming-to-Shadow-of-War/m-p/1831034 Quote In order to fully restore the core promise of the Nemesis System, we’ll be permanently removing Gold, War Chests and the Market from Shadow of War. This means the option to purchase Gold with real-world money and the ability to gain Orc Followers from War Chests will be removed. There will be a specific amount of time given for players to utilize their unused Gold. If players have unused Gold by the end of the time allotted to spend it, any remaining Gold will be converted to in-game items. Quote Simply being aware that they are available for purchase reduces the immersion in the world and takes away from the challenge of building your personal army and your fortresses Quote Additionally, we’ll be updating the Shadow Wars section of the campaign, where players defend their fortresses against Sauron’s repeated counter-attacks. This portion of the game will be improved with new narrative elements and streamlined for a more cohesive experience. Another instance where people claimed lootboxes didn't affect the core gameplay and grind, then developer comes out and admits it did and removes it. Makes one defending this sh*t look like a fool in hindsight.

dante77
Is it recommended to play this game directly and skip Shadow of Mordor? I was gonna play Mordor first then was thinking if it aged well or not. When I went to buy this, it is 1k on steam even though Shadow of War usually goes around 300 bucks, so that is another reason to skip. I have this game in my PSN, Steam and EPIC. PSN and EPIC I got for free and steam I bought for about 300 bucks a while back.
AnK
It is a direct sequel you’ll have to watch the story of Mordor on YouTube Atleast It was boring though Gameplay also got super repetitive by the time I reached the second map location
dante77
Boring as in the series of both games are boring or just this one?

dante77
OK. Then I guess I'll just skip it. Like I said in other thread. Can't waste my precious alone time of my wife going to her mayke in this. Gotta make every second count.
Guest
The nemesis system is cool. Rest everything else is just average stuff. You won't miss anything if you don't play. If you have extra time and got nothing to play, go ahead.
