KrIzAliD
the reason I stopped playing this sh*t when shadowkeep was coming out... was exactly this.

Forsaken was at the time when everyone dragged them over the coal for having shitty loot and nerf everything mentally. So the went crazy with OP gear, weapons, supers, abilities, everything. Even without the campaign it would've been the best time to play D2. Its been downhill ever since.
CarbonCore
From reddit post here With equipment now sunset away I figured I'd see how many guns are no longer relevant to the community's eye. Here's a lovely, albeit somewhat depressing count of guns that are not sunset and can be infused up into Beyond Light. Total - All the Legendary (purple) guns in collections Usable - All the guns that are not sunset and can currently be infused past 1060 New - All the guns that are marked as either Beyond Light or Season of the Hunt (a few will be Trials & Iron Banner weapons) The percentage is just the usable guns against the gun's total as a percentage PRIMARY Auto Rifles 25.5% Total 51 Usable 13 New 2 Scout Rifles 17% Total 47 Usable 8 New 3 Pulse Rifles 17.4% Total 46 Usable 8 New 2 Hand Cannons 21.2% Total 52 Usable 11 New 2 Submachine Guns 14.6% Total 41 Usable 6 New 1 Sidearms 22.5% Total 40 Usable 9 New 1 Bows 60% Total 10 Usable 6 New 1 SPECIAL Shotguns 32.6% Total 43 Usable 14 New 4 Grenade Launchers 44.4% Total 9 Usable 4 New 1 Fusion Rifles 33.3% Total 30 Usable 10 New 2 Sniper Rifles 25% Total 44 Usable 11 New 3 HEAVY Swords 20.8% Total 24 Usable 5 New 1 Grenade Launchers 25% Total 24 Usable 6 New 2 Rocket Launchers 26.7% Total 30 Usable 8 New 2 Linear Fusion Rifles 37.5% Total 8 Usable 3 New 1 Machine Guns 27.3% Total 11 Usable 3 New

Guest
Think almost all done for this week. After 45 hours: Good: Stasis is amazing and super fun to play. Even more with friends. They did a fantastic work on the sub-class. Stasis has so much potential in future seasons/year. The idea of aspects and fragments to further customize is very well thought. The visual effects and sound is still 10/10. This department never fails to show up. New exotics are awesome. The idea of having higher chance to get exotic loot from LS on legend/master is a nice incentive. Bad: Not enough loot. They can make good guns but not enough especially if you are going to sunset 80% of the stuff. Shadowkeep and Forsaken completely useless with loot as they are sunset but still being sold. Cosmodrome doesn't add much to the game. Weak campaign. Post-campaign grind is pretty much checklist quest for rewards and get used to stasis sub-class. Not bad. Not good. Gameplay carries it out. Hopefully they won't nerf Stasis because of PvP (mainly in favor of trials) and make it meh in PvE. Current state of the class is awesome to play. Next-week - Search for Osiris beings along with Wrathborn hunts. Master of Crows time finally! ?

Guest
Expectations for seasonal activity were low but holy hell. We went from VO/Sundial to grinding same strikes/crucible/gambit to get lure for hunt...who are basically lost sector type bosses. How is this a seasonal activity. Yikes. ? Not even going to talk about the RNG loot table with 180 scout, 600 SMG, LFR... ?

All this with delays too. Very hard to defend this game as they going 1 step forward and 10 steps back. Remove bunch of strikes/crucible maps -> add activity revolving around same 2-4 year old strikes/crucible maps... Remove bunch of usable weapons -> add shite weapons without actually looking into the archetype. Literally no one uses or cares about 180 scout or trash 600 SMGs. 44 minutes ago, Keano said: Upcoming raid make or break for D2? Nah, still active game with no competition. Raid will be good as usual and people will be back to praising.

Its beyond that critical population where nothing short of a series of major fk ups will break it. I miss the time when it was one disaster DLC away from being obsolete so you got major corrective stuff like Taken King and Warmind/Forsaken. Guest
Season didn't get much. Still same and lacking. Expansion got a bunch of stuff after raid clear. Pretty nice.
Guest
Very nice raid. 1st and 2nd encounter are bit boring but 3rd and 4th are super fun and fast. Audio and visuals are great. Space and indoors look absolutely stunning. ? Raid armor design better than GoS. Weapons also good and reward system is perfect. Pick what you want at the end is awesome to have to avoid shitty pinnacle dupes.

In fact, they have sunset old content, so you can jump in and get started. However, the F2P version isn't packed with content anymore but still good enough to get the taste of the game and gameplay. Guest
If you end up liking the game and want to buy expansion, do note: Forsaken - only for campaign/Last Wish raid/exotics. All weapons and armor are useless. Shadowkeep - only for campaign/Garden raid/exotics. All weapons and armor are useless. Europa - latest expansion. All weapons and armor useful for another year. Campaign all sucks. It's the gameplay, grind, raid, dungeons, co-op that keep you hooked it. Seasons - hit and miss. Couple of good items/moments but otherwise dull weeks majority of the time.
