Engineer
An ancient evil has returned to Baldur's Gate, intent on devouring it from the inside out. The fate of Faerun lies in your hands. Alone, you may resist. But together, you can overcome. roun90
It's actually a bit sad if you think about it. Baldur's Gate was Bioware's premium game. And now EA is so fed up and not trusting Bioware that neither was the Sci-Fi SP RPG (Star Wars: Fallen Order) nor even their premium CRPG (Baldur's Gate) given to them. Instead it's shipped off to an outside studio for development (Larian). Meanwhile, Bioware is stuck trying to clean up the mess that was Anthem and the so-called Dragon Age 4, whose budget seems so curtailed that we have not even heard about it for years (Signs of troubled development and what might be ultimately a severely budget cut down product). Props to Larian though, if anyone can bring out the scope of Baldur's Gate today, it's them. And from the trailer and reveals, it actually seems like an excellent game worthy of being hyped up for - unlike Bioware's efforts.

Guest
Quote Baldur's Gate 3 Early Access Content Will Be As Large As Divinity: Original Sin 2 Baldur's Gate III is launching in early access in August (hopefully), and developer Larian Studios has spoken before about how it will include most of the game's first act. This act, however, will be as large as the entirety of Divinity: Original Sin 2, according to creative director Swen Vincke.

dylanjosh
Just learned that Kevin Van Ord is working at Larian now. Used to love his Gamespot reviews as a kid. Would always look for them when a game released.
