Yeah its a classic case of biting more than you can chew, and Ubi seems to suffer from it more than most.

What I meant to say I have not experienced any major bugs like you see in Bethesda games. Minor bugs are common but nothing which takes me out of experience in any way. 

 

Other than bugs, there are bunch of conversational anomalies. Like at one time when Bayek meets an old friend outside of that oval track, he's extremely happy and asks him to meet at his house later. When Bayek goes there he's again extremely joyous and says its been so long since he last saw him. I'm like, dude I just met you couple of hours ago and we spoke at length. Stuff like this is everywhere and immediately pulls you out of experience.

However, I think you are being overly critical. Not every game has to be a literal masterpiece or whatever. This is a game which you start and have some fun with it. And honestly speaking, I'm having a lot of fun with it. The parkour is a joy, the map is impressive and the core gameplay is quite fun which never feels grindy at all. I don't expect much more from an AC game. 

 

Never said its a bad game, just nothing spectacular. Its just standard AC game in a new setting with a recon drone from GRAW. HZD gets shat upon all the time for being safe and straightforward open world game, well Origins is no different, right down to its generic-a*s name.

However, speaking from personal experience and public opinion, HZD was a rock solid game and can be the benchmark for how bug free open world games can be. I encountered only one bug throughout my play time where an enemy warped inside a rock. 

My experience with HZD was mostly bug free but few people experienced quest breaking bugs in the game. It was better than most open world games but not 100% bug free. You will easily find HZD bugs videos on YT. 

 

It's impossible for devs to make open world game 100% bug free. Players will always find something which breaks the game lol

bought the deluxe edition from PSN at Rs 2750 (44% discount as per psn).  Just checked on amazon that the physical version of deluxe ed costs above Rs 3500, so pretty good deal i must say :D

Yeah, why not after every 10 levels since 40 is max. Or open some Heka chests once in a while if you want to gamble.

I hate this dynamic enemy scaling concept.  What's the point of upgrading if the enemy scales up along with you ? I would prefer games like Fallout or witcher , where the enemies have a fixed level, and the player needs to level up accordingly. Yes the previous enemies might get easier , but that's the whole point of leveling up or upgrading !

It's an option for those who don't like killing low-level mobs at a high level. The game is massive and you hit level cap before even clearing 50% of it. 

 

Enable after reaching level 40, I guess. That way you get a sense of pride and accomplishment of levelling up and also have a challenge after hitting the cap. 

 

It is kind of boring to 1 shot everyone after a while. So it's nice to have an option of enemy scaling.

they could also have a higher level cap.  Or making leveling up incrementally difficult, so that you dont hit the level cap by mid game.  But I guess, the devs took the easier way out and just level everyone up :-/

If they make levelling up hard, they will have to redesign the level requirement for missions/zones/mobs completely. Without that, it'll require a massive grind which isn't good for SP games. Just boring. 

 

These type of games don't really need such grind and Assassin's Creed isn't exactly known for the challenge. It's somewhere between that and the game does that job very well. Not too easy; not too hard. Just good enough for anyone to jump in and enjoy without having to grind anything. People who are looking for a challenge can always jack up the difficulty setting or not level up their gear, which is crucial than character level.

I would definitely prefer this over dynamic enemy scaling.

Extra work without incentive isn't something common, mainly at an early stage. And they cannot sell this either. So it's not worth their time/resources for making such changes.  U25vHfA.png

 

That's why most of them increase level cap/restructure enemies with DLCs.

You also get gear scaled to your level. With trash mob you get trash gear. Afaik Witcher 3 also has option to upscale enemies, but doesn't give rewards accordingly.
