Engineer
Why hazelight deal with EA why can't they self publish games on steam and give regional pricing

Now partners in crime! Also I think EA was looking for a couch co-op game and they got it.
Heaven Angel
Because EA Originals is giving them a level of security which these small studios can't afford to risk it. Making games is hard. It's a hard business. With EA Originals, the profits from these games to go into the hands of the studios making them. It's good for the studio and EA is helping out. How is it bad? Just because you are not getting regional pricing? It's not like the game is going to cost $50. Embarrassing to even read such comments.

Heaven Angel
Quote You'll need a pal through the entire story-driven game, and you'll share a screen even when you play online. Boo!
WhiteWolf
Split screen even when playing online? Wtf
Heaven Angel
Yep. The developer confirmed it on Reddit. Quote What's more, while you'll be able to play locally on the same screen, or with a partner online, it's split-screen only. "And I mean, only," said Fares, determined to make you feel like you're sitting together on a couch even if you're connecting with your pal over the internet. I feel like split-screen even while online might be tough to get used to. It could be useful to see what your partner is doing from time to time, but it doesn't seem like it would always be necessary. While playing a split-screen game while sitting on a couch with a buddy feels normal, I feel like split-screen even while online might be tough to get used to. It could be useful to see what your partner is doing from time to time, but it doesn't seem like it would always be necessary. And there's something fun in games about communicating over voice chat to let your friend know what you're doing, which might be lessened a bit if they can see what you're up to at all times. Granted, I’m only speculating, as I’ve never played an online split-screen-only game. If it's used in novel ways in A Way Out, it could wind up feeling not just natural but completely necessary. -PC Gamer. silv3rgunn3r
A much needed local split screen campaign, but why the heck is it split screen in online mode Gameplay graphics looks underwhelming though.
Pacifier
May be it's something to do with the kind of game they are building, i.e you always need to know what your partner is doing to make your move ( even if he is in a different room). Something unique for sure. And I see it would be more story focussed rather than gameplay.... Which is a good thing to have in the midst of things.
