Electronic Arts kicked off the E3 2017. EA showed some Star Wars, some sports, some car chases, and a brand-new game from BioWare called Anthem. There was also a live drumline, in case you thought E3 needed more drumlines.

Quick Summary:

  • Star Wars: Battlefront II - EA aims to fix the first game's problems. All post-release multiplayer add-ons will be free this time around, meaning that everyone will be able to keep playing the game “for years to come,”. Available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox on November 17, 2017.
  • Anthem - a brand new IP from BioWare. Online co-op action adventure. From the looks of it, it seems to be EA's answer to Destiny. Will be available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox during Spring of 2018.
  • A Way Out - another co-op game but this one comes with split-screen (even for online). Promising idea. Will it work? You gotta wait till early 2018 to know.
  • Need For Speed Payback - NFS is back! This time it looks like Fast & Furious. Gameplay-wise, it looks like some kinda combination of Split/Second and Burnout, which, also, sounds good(?). Available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox on November 10, 2017.
  • Battlefield 1 In The Name of the Tsar - the upcoming expansion which will come with 6 new maps including 2-night maps featuring the Russian army along with the iconic women’s battalion of death. A new small-squad competitive mode was teased but more details on the expansion will be shared at Gamescom. Available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox during September.
  • Madden 18 - Um, gets a new mode called LongShot. Available on PlayStation and Xbox on August 25, 2017.
  • Fifa 18 - It's RONALDO! A lot of improvements over last year's FIFA. Legends are no longer Xbox exclusive. Journey makes a return which can be played in co-op with a friend and will allow you to import your Fifa 17 character. Available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch on September 29, 2017.
  • NBA Live 18 - finally some real competition for 2K NBA? An all-new and dynamic career journey. Create your individual player identity and become a legend in The League and The Streets. Available on PlayStation and Xbox. No release date as of now.

They nominated almost every big game that was showcased. Lol :P

But yeah, Mario clearly stole the show, just like Zelda did last year.

I like the concept of A way out, but I don't really dig that forced split screen. Middle earth did show varied environments, let's hope the missions are not Assasinate X or Y  just like mordor. Anthem has really piqued my interest. Really digging the Avatar-esque atmosphere. I hope it has a SP campaig too.

As usual Ninty comes in and steals the show.

Also is everyone considering Devolver Show as taboo or something because no sites even talk about that. It was hilarious
