Xcm Vga box or Vga cable in Bangalore??

Hi All,

I know I could buy this from PA but there has to be a local shop in B'lore that sells either the xcm vga box or a vga cable for the PS3. The only reason why I don't go through PA is because the shipping cost (Fedex) and customs' fees would be almost as much as the item itself. Yeah I know I could do economy shipping to get around both but I actually want the product to get to me. I have lost too many parcels in the mail so buying locally is preferable. Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

buy a VGA-HDMI adapter...no vga box is sold in india AFAIK..

Thx m-JeRi but correct me if I am wrong. Isn't it impossible or REALLY expensive to convert HDMI to an analog output like VGA? I am not referring to HDCP related content but seeing any video over a HDMI->VGA adapter setup. Going the other way VGA -> HDMI is possible but I have never seen anything, adapter or cable, to do HDMI->VGA. Also that solution would leave me without sound since HDMI would have nowhere to dump the audio. So I am not sure if that adapter would work for my case but again I could be wrong.

Sam,

I think both are essentially the same. The 2nd link you have, XCM 1080p plus PSP2VGA VGA Box, just has added support for a PSP. I was going to buy that one from PA (as a last resort) or even the latest version which is the XCM 1080p Mega-Cool VGA Box. I like the look of the XCM Mega-Cool VGA box better and also it supports 480i (not that I need it).

dude.......relax.... :)

whats is that u need??? ... what ueed to connect???...then ill help....

I can't relax. I am going through MGS4 withdrawal :D

I have component PS3 cables. I want a component to VGA solution, like VGA box, that will accept Component (YPbPr) as input and output Vga to a LCD monitor or a cable solution that will have the PS3 directly output to VGA. Again if something is not available locally then I will take my chances with PA but I really do not want to essentially pay double as I mentioned before.
