Bethesda Game Of Thrones Project Potentially Leaked

LOL Possibly the worst studio to make GoT RPG...  Extreme negative reaction online from sites like GAF nd all . They all want CD Project Red to make it..

So Skyrim with lots of tits and dicks? I'll take it.

CDPR or GTFO.

So it's a Skyrim mod then.

If it is Bethesda Softworks behind it, expect the lore and story to be butchered and changed.

Can't wait to see what empty shell of a gaming experience they barf out with this license. Copy pasted quests, poor animations with a 12 year old game engine.

This is going to be awful. The gameplay might be serviceable but Bethesda doesn't have the writing staff to do this justice. Then again, judging by Season 7, neither does HBO.

Can't wait too see how sex scenes will look powered by amazing Game Bryo animation technology

Game of Thrones doesn't fit as traditional RPG anyway. It needs to be like Crusader Kings, which sadly won't sell enough.

So they are obviously going to focus more on the world, which they are excellent at with season 7 like writing.

Second, which studio would do justice bar CD PR (who don't have enough time or resource on their plate)? EA/Activision/Ubisoft/WB? Yeah, no, thanks.

CD PR doesn't have enough time or resource to make. A 2025 release is not what the IP needs.

Bethesda is easily the best choice. Second, this might be simply published by them and developed by you know who. Beth has published some one of the best games over the years.

Hope this is real and we get a proper GoT game.

Frankly it would be better to wait for CDPR to eventually release the game than have Bethesda do it. Bethesda has not done a proper good story till now. GoT is a highly complex story. It's not just about killing dragons and looking cool, while having a huge sandbox world. Not to mention, Bethesda literally depends on mods. Due to this we might as well have a fan made GoT game.Only CDPR can do the story justice.

As the saying goes - "A delayed game is eventually good. A bad game is bad forever"

Doesn't work like that. CD PR is a public company. Key development projects currently underway include Cyberpunk 2077 and GWENT: The Witcher Card Game.

Pretty excited about it. If it does exist, when will it be announced? No major game conference coming up AFAIK

Probably just tease now or confirm if it is true and reveal during next E3 with holiday 2018/season 8 (summer 2019) release.

GOT is story heavy.  Bethesda don't know how to do good story.

People just need to buy Mount and Blade and download requisite MODs'.

I hope they go full on with it. GIve us Tyrion, Cersei, Ned, Robb, everyone.

Not some half assed game with unknown protagonist merely set in Westeros like Shadow of Mordor.

Expensive and can clash with the continuity of the story which might be objected by HBO.

Also, the unknown protagonist, smaller shoes means more freedom to screw around with things.

Sigh. Bethesda is a publisher. They can very well get Obsidian or someone else to work on it if they want.

You do realise Obsidian is also completely booked out till next year with Pillars II in the pipes.

Merging threads.

They are not good at story telling.
