vbhoj74
^Umm dude it just doesn't make business sense to have PSN for India till there are sufficient number of PS3 owners. Also quite a few people buy their consoles from abroad which means 1 sale less for Sony India. Think about it, if you were the owner of a business and had to invest a lot of money for meagre returns, would you? Bro you are absolutely right, but again, one has to look at a macro view. Had I been in the shoes of Sony, I would have done it long ago given the international repute they have and to protect the same. Its not like owning a small business and looking at micro profits. Besides, I'm sure Sony has enough muscle to flex to put up PSN store up with internal tie up with another region if they don't contemplate high volumes. vbhoj74
i agree but unfortunately Sony is full o' sh*t where stuff like this is concerned. Let's face it, in India MS have a better service and tech support. If Sony's hardware was sh*t things would be different here. Sony India = Sony WorldWide 2006. Believe. GIANT ENEMA FAIL! FOR MAXIMUM DAMAGE! +1, its only because of the better hardware I'm with the PS3 than with any other console.

playstation
If Sony's hardware had same problem as xbox 360 they would have surely changed there way of handling ps3 problems in India... .The xbox failure rate is beyond anything in electronics i have ever read or heard of and any Reputed Company has to address this huge problem in whatever way possible and efficient. If microsoft would have not dealt with this issue as efficiently as they are doing it now This may have even caused them out of gaming business forever. though I must agree that the way microsoft has handled the xbox failure Prod problem is really impressive. vbhoj74
LOL the way they're going about their stuff right now, i wouldn't be surprised if they did a worse job. Look what happens when a PS3 goes wrong, it's a pain to get a legit unit replaced. Hmm, I would slightly tweak my earlier statement on PS3 being a better console. Well it seems to be a more advance console but almost at par in terms of reliability which is also non acceptable from Sony. In another thread I read how the KZ2 is effecting the console, I've got my frozen so many times while playing KZ, once I had to give it a hard reset, other time it would only temporary freeze when the game sucks all the power that console can offer. So yes, probably the PS3 and other consoles are surviving today because there does not exist one tension free model which we can just hook and forget for next 3-4 yrs at least (the technology evolution life cycle). Though its best if it lasts like one of those old CRT TV which just would refuse to give up unless you give up on it.

lastAvenger
^ Not really. It charges you commission of 4% i think Also i remember buying stuff through my dad's HSBC card from HK PSN and US PSN. Why is there a problem now ?
a5hr1th
Coz now, even the HK Store asks you for a valid HK Card with a valid HK address. As far as Entropay goes, I even tried changing the address in my Entropay account to a valid HK address, but still, it won't go thru. Entropay only works on the US Store

blackheart2925
How do all of you guys manage to buy games online.. if anyone does that ? hey bpis, for PAL stuff people mostly use SHOPTO or PLAYASIA or GAME...refer to the thread below for more info... http://www.IndianVideoGamer.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2741
a5hr1th
Shopto and Game are quite reliable, and both of them serve PAL games only, coz they're UK based. If its a DLC dependant game, get the game from Play-Asia, coz Indian CCs don't work on the UK PSN store
