Why PS3 is the best console till date (with why XBOX 360 is worst)

@harrydeo: the thing people are angry about is that you are obviously biased. for someone new looking to buy a console its better that they receive no advice at all than receive advice from someone who is biased. people will get angry because the thread's title itself is inflammatory. you can't sh*t on a console, which for many people is the only console of the two that they own and love, and expect them to take it with a smile. if your views were put across in a more civilised manner rather than with statements like "Pure waste of money" and "Microsoft wants to stop evolution in gaming", maybe they wouldnt have reacted so harshly.

Why the f**k do people worry about which consoles better? For f**ks sake stop worrying about them because neither Sony nor Microsoft share the profit they fking earn with you

like aman so eloquently put it in another thread - "go back to playing gears"....it was three days of bliss for the rest of us

@HundredProofSam: I agree with you. Specially for the point, people who have only one console. But those points where supported by the reasons.

Pure Waste of Money: Microsoft is charging us INR 5500 (and still charging, probably not after the update) for a 20 GB Har Disk . OK, if you don't like this statement then tell me why it is not waste of the money and we will take it from there. Starting with f**k and sh*t is obviously not the correct way. If all of us are so happy with using Profanity. Why use *s we should remove that was well. If this continues to happen it site may be blocked at corporate proxy servers (Which filters based on restricted words)

Whatever is being discussed its not about people, its about the content (Console). Taking advise and making decisions is always upto the one who is looking at it.

Scenario: If you have played game Too Human and if you like it very much would you blame the reviewer at Gamespot for giving 5.5 score. Obviously not. Its his view. You choose to read it.

Do we have any policy on personal attacks on this forum ? Just wanted to know .

This wasnt a personal attack, a mere statement of fact. Inspite of all the bluster, none of the points you have made, when counterbalanced against what is really happening in the market (premium console sales > 2x core console sales, so HDD pricing is not as much of a problem) actually justify the thread title and its subtext.

Thread updated with three more points (In PS3 Section)

7; Support for Bluetooth: We can use almost any mobile headset out there. No need for any proprietary headset at premium rate

8: Support for any PC based WebCam: We can use almost any PC webcam out there. No need for any proprietary Web Cam at premium rates.

9: DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcast Terrestrial) & DVR (Digital Video Recorder) via PlayTV: PlayTV is a twin-channel DVB-T tuner peripheral with digital video recorder (DVR) software which allows users to watch and record television programmes to the hard drive of a PlayStation 3 console for later viewing. Viable for us as well because India has got DVB-T broadcasts as well.

@harrydeo,

PS3 does not come with hdmi/HD cables, inspite of being a HD console.

Inspite of DS3 being launched, Sony sells it separately and doesn't include that with the 40 GB consoles.

so dont say MS is the only one that sucks the blood ! If u remember, PS2 did not even come with a memory card and u had to buy it separately !

You dont need to buy cable from Sony. Thats the point. It open HDMI 1.3 standard cable. Availble at any cable shop. Not like a proprietary thing.

But this thread is about console (Hardware).

The title doesn't say that, does it?

And Hardware! Are you serious?

Dude, if you are interested more in H/W then invest in a PC.
