As I am having cell phone internet which is limited and cant carry my PS4 to my office where i can download at fast speed so i wanna ask that how to setup PSX download helper and PS4 on the same network using a proxy so that i can start my download on my laptop so that i can carry the laptop to my office and can download there. Ps i use cellphone hotspot for laptop internet and can also use the same in limited data on PS4 so that both can be on same hotspot. Please help. Thannks in advance. Ps- i tried following online tutorials but in vain as when i changed the IP of my pc to that by psx software and put the same into PS4 it cannot detect internet connectivity. HEMAN Posted October 16, 2017 Report Share Posted October 16, 2017 Okay I will my best to explain. Step 1> Open the psx but don't click start. Step 2> Start PS4 settings network wifi/lan custom and press next until proxy settings. Enter the proxy IP from PSX downloader but do not press next. Step 3> Click start button in PSX on laptop, let it do its think Step 4> Press next on ps4 and complete the setup and do the test at the end. Start any game download that you want let it download for at least 5/10mb then pause it. In psx you will find log which contains the url of the game. Copy that into a text document. Psn downloads files in 4gb chunks. Your game url will contain something like this 000000_0000. You have to change the last 0=1 in the url and the next 4g chunk will be downloaded. Repeat this until you get url not found, you will most probably know when its ends cause the last link will be less than 4gb. Download all the files in the laptop and place all files in one folder example psn game. In PSX settings select tick the auto replace files in folder. After that open your proxy setup and when its connected to proxy start the download, however this time the file will get transferred from laptop to ps4. PS: I use to do this when I had ps3 days. No transferring files from laptop to ps4 will use your isp data. In psx downloader where you get the link underneath is the place where to point it to game files. This is important for psx downloader to know where on laptop are files stored. hi..i got "........730a09f0b99e901e7f74df8875461/f/EP0101-CUSA01154_00-MAINGAME00000000_3.pkg?........." file from PSX so should i now start download from 00_00. pkg to the number where it will will come that file not exist? or should i start from 3,4,5...till the number where it says the file does not exist?
