Incredible game that deserve all success.

I tried it on PC and the lighting in this game gives me a headache. The sun is extremely bright and indoors have crushing blacks. I even tried a re-shade mod but still not being able to come to terms with the brightness in the game.

Is it some HDR issue maybe? Check your settings of the monitor and the game

I'm actually not playing on a HDR monitor. The sun's rays in this game is blinding at times...

That was not the case for me when I played it on PS4Pro. In fact I thought the brightness was adjusted pretty well. But I played with HDR on. 

 

Too bright screen especially all of a sudden sounds like lack of HDR.

That's the thing... on my PS4 I didn't see this happening. This brightness issue I'm facing on PC. I checked online and saw many players have also faced the same issue on PC.

Omghghghg THIS GAME!!! 

Combat is super deep like an RPG.

Exploration gives RPG vibes too.

 

This game definitely has some deep colour contrast issues.

Indoors are so dark with crushing blacks & outdoors are super bright for the eyes during sunlight!!

U have HDR on? That could affect it.

Yes HDR on & Dynamic Contrast also on.

 

Have to increase brightness & lower black levels in TV settings for this particular game.

Dude, your are spot on! I didn't have HDR on but still the game gave me headaches because of the super bright outdoors. I had to quit playing this game sadly for this very reason. Nothing I did solved the brightness issue.

Completed Act 1 

 

This game is just mind bogglingly good & fresh in it’s gameplay.

Exploration has shades of Ubisoft Games but it’s ok.

 

I think it might get monotonous by then end that’s why the initial meta score of 83.

So far it’s an easy 90+.
