WiiU was a failed console (sales wise); but with the Switch selling like hot cakes, the series can get the exposure it deserves. Let's just hope that Nintendo fans are more receptive to it this time. And of the 3 platform owners (Sony, Nintendo and MS), Nintendo has the worst track record of releasing their IPs on other platforms. So any further releases of Bayonetta (even Part 1) will only be on Nintendo systems. That is, unless Nintendo decides to sell the IP. Sega still owns the IP, Nintendo just has publishing rights for 2 and 3. Which is why Bayo 1 was released on PC very recently but not 2.
