IshmaelIsBack Posted December 16, 2008 Report Share Posted December 16, 2008 infected crocs , thats something new , appreciate it , tbh tired of sharks and fishes and lol I wouldn't call it 4.5 cuz the world is bigger this time and the detail ( just the detail , leave the particle effects & lighting overall ) is still so immense on the world , characters , objects in real-time. Also there's absolutely no texture recycling there on-screen and some of the most varied textures ive seen in a game this gen. Not to mention the bump mapping done extremely well optimizing the memory. The soft shadows are probably the best in a game ( apart from KZ2 ).I think this is the peak of MT Framework , let it be Lost Planet , DMC4 or Dead Rising , Takeuchi's men once again proved that there's no team in Capcom to be hailed as tech kings than them , Inafune has my respect. P.S. There are rumors of Chris's face alone makes up a poly count of 300,000.That imo is a bit too much.I'll wait for either the project data or some developer diaries for it to be revealed. I bet there's no new animation data at all. The infected move and react exactly like they did in RE4. They have over five months to add all the data.
