Keyofx Posted February 28, 2009 Report Share Posted February 28, 2009 It's bland as hell. What good are graphics/sound/fancy interface if there is no credible story/universe to back it up? Lots of minor gripes otherwise, every chapter ends up a fetch quest. You never ever get interesting objectives that make you care. The horror is just atmospheric, mostly audio dependent. You never feel like the world itself exists for anything other than shooting idiotic creatures that bum rush you. Anyone calling this nonsense decent horror deserves a Suffering or Project Zero (leave alone RE4) case shoved up their bum. I suspect the only horror game worth its weight this gen (so far) is Silent Hill: Western Edition. (Bioshock maybe?) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Resident Evil 4 is the only survival horror game i'v played( 'horror' being used loosely since i didn't find it a whole lot scary(haven't finished it either)). iv been wanting to check out the suffering games along with silent hill 2 but i dont think copies are available now. playstation Posted February 28, 2009 Report Share Posted February 28, 2009 i didn't find it scary at all. yaar , i did not scared ki bas haath par kap gaya.. it was just ki at the starting i got this chilled for a second so much that i got scared for a second. i played this game in my old house which was on 6th floor and we use to get good breeze ..so if i put it i just got that chilled for a second and to be precise it was not the game but my speakers sound created that atmosphere for me. It was perfect place to enjoy Survival horror games....even know i try to create that atmosphere in my new house i bring the Tv in my bedroom try to connect with my speakers(altec lansing Mx-5021) and ask my family not to disturb in any way .
