Some stuff from the panel. -They have about 270 people working on it. -The studio head says that when they thought of this reboot/reimagination she had 2 people in mind to lead the -title. David jaffee or cory barlog -david jaffee said he was busy and with cory everything worked out. - took one month trip to study scandinavian region - they had zeroed in on 3 mythologies. Cory finally picked norse. While they dont mention the others, We know egypt was one of the choices. -they're giving out absolutely nothing about the story. Not telling why kratos is going on his journey - when asked if the world serpent will betray them as he is the child on loki, they just laugh it off. - game is without a single cut from start to finish. From gameplay to cutscene and back again its a one continuous shot. - cory says that the child will not be a burden on the player or require you to babysit him. He says this with absolute certainty. He will help the player throughout. - many other sony studios advised them to not have that child from start to finish with such complex ai. - they say they're very proud of the child ai and it was the hardest part of the game for them. - cory got a real 9 year old boy to do the mo cap for the son as he felt that a double would never work. - one button is alloted to the son and the moves will keep evolving throughout as he learns new stuff. - the team says their version of mythology is bound by the rules of geography (borders). For eg even though at the end of gow 3 the world was in chaos, its only applies to the greek god regions. - real norse text used. Every text used in the game is there for a reason. - kratos doesn't understand norse but his son does. Its a real life parallel with cory as his wife is swedish and their son speaks the language while he doesn't understand anything. Thats all i can remember for now. But try to watch the first 10-12 mins of the video. Aman, Fallout was not reported on any new channel iirc ...it was just publisher themselves decided to not launch it.....this is why i said that may be we are creating the fear that something would happen here and that gaming is too small a news and these things would just pass under their nose.... @sobbii..cannot watch any youtube but got the idea which news channel...net is too slow...crossed FUP.... 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
