Disney/Marvel is taking an interest in the Spiderman game, and I don't think they will want KH and Spiderman sales cannibalizing each other. Also, don't under-estimate Spiderman. Interest in Marvel properties has never been higher, due to MCU while KH hype is frankly pretty low wherever I look. It doesn't help that the series was in handhelds for so long and only remasters were released for an entire generation of consoles (and most of the PS4 generation as well). SE should never have taken so long to put out KH3. I frankly hope KH 3 is released in August when there is nothing except WoW expansion. Square Enix has yet to announce anything related to the trademark, but considering it was filed as "game software" and "entertainment services," it's quite possible Outriders is the name of a game that will soon be announced by the publisher. Last year, Square Enix announced a partnership with People Can Fly. The Bulletstorm developer is developing a AAA game that will be published by Square Enix. Whether Outriders is related to People Can Fly's project or something else entirely, it may not be long before we find out what the trademark is for, as Square Enix is holding a streaming event at E3 2018 that will offer a glimpse at the publisher's "exciting future."
