Panthelon
Dell has agreed to give an extended 1 yr "LIMITED WARRANTY" only for the affected machines. You might want to check if this is applicable in India as well. kunallkw
sounds good...well i blv dell being an mnc adopts warranty schemes worlwide...since it's a design flaw what most refer to it as. will update thread if i get any sort of info on this... one thing to mention tht this major flaw is so well covered up ... no reviewer has mentioned about these issues so far as has been user views regarding flaws. kunallkw
this phuck up is only wid the older nvidia chip xps 1330 models...service is amazing...onsite and on time service. it's not there in the new mobo's for 1330 it seems what the techie told me. also depends on the use mine is like 24x7 on coz of downloads and 6hrs off on sundays. i even felt the palm rest a bit hotter than my frnd's xps 1330 aswell.
