You confusing him with someone else. He worked on all Bungie Halo games then left when 343 took over

He never worked on Crackdown franchise. Crackdown campaign was headed by Sumo Digital and Online by ReAgent.

343i very poorly managed studios. I read somewhere that other MS studios also don't like working them as they have lot of high ego and arrogance as they get biggest budget and support from MS. Other MS studios seem more efficient than 343 and get much less budget and MS support than 343.

343 just bad studios. Needs to be dismantled. Halo needs better studios.

This. That studio is run like sh*t.

The game was delayed in early August, however, following poor fan reception to an early public version. Lee’s role was sidelined a few weeks later, as Microsoft brought in Halo veteran Joe Staten to lead the single-player campaign and another senior executive, Pierre Hintze, to run multiplayer.

Seems like he's been off the project for months now.

Joe Staten to lead the single-player campaign. The same guy who worked on Destiny 1 and later got completely scrapped off.

Two years ago, something went wrong. Destiny’s writing team, led by the well-respected Bungie veteran Joe Staten, had been working on the game for several years. They’d put together what they called the ‘supercut’—a two-hour video comprising the game’s cinematics and major story beats. In July, they showed it to the studio’s leadership. That’s when things went off the rails, according to six people who worked on Destiny. Senior staff at Bungie were unhappy with how the supercut had turned out. They decided it was too campy and linear, sources say, and they quickly decided to scrap Staten’s version of the story and start from scratch.

And now he returns to save the franchise originally made by Bungie.
