Why does this feel like a case of "Over-promise , Under-Deliver"?

Hope Bethesda Softworks pull it off.

Play Fallout 4, it’s great.

Won’t recommend Skyrim now coz it’s dated.

But both run great on SX & part of GP.

After you play few hours you’ll realise how great this team is.

Bethesda always delivered great but buggy rpg games. This will be no different.

Only exception was 76 as they made into online service based game.

They have showed us a few things.

also this screenshot s now

what i mean is , it leaves upto hype and unlike cyberpunk its not a buggy launch ?

Cyberpunk suffered more coz of last gen version. Starfield is nextgen only.

Im playing Cyberpunk on PC and zero bugs so far.

Game of this scale is bound to have bugs ,however they should be minimum since its only xbox series consoles and PC verison.

Having no ps and crossgen means those resources can be used for polishing.

Give us some gameplay atleast.. it's releasing this year.

Bethesda always reveals the game just months early to release.

Though yeah this ain’t really an establishment franchise like ES,FO or GTA to take that sort of gamble.

It should have been handled differently.

We don't even know what's the game is about. I have an impression that's it's like no man's sky. Release some info atleast, what's with all the discretion.

I'm totally expecting it be like No Man's Sky, where you can visit different planets within a star system.. but with a good story, not some procedurally generated BS.

We have info:

One of the recent trailers breaks down the region of space known as the 'Settled Systems', a 50 light year radius around our own solar system where humanity has spread out. It's divided up between two major factions—the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective—who are at an uneasy peace after a recent war. It also touches on some of the other threats the player might face: "Ecliptic mercenaries, pirates of the Crimson Fleet, violent Spacers, or even the fanatical religious zealots of House Va'Ruun."

They could have named it, Fallout: final frontier.

Is this a game or an nft? Do we have to imagine all this?

Launch a gameplay teaser atleast. A 30 sec tease or something atleast.

I'm hoping for Skyrim in space

That's all they really need to do. Really hoping they don't screw it up fully.

Bugs will be there and lot of stuff limited but as long it supports mods it should get rid of that. Still the less bugs the better.
