AnK
After watching that deep dive I want Fallout 4 next gen patch ASAP. Kinda was expecting it to be announced on the showcase too. Even a 60fps patch would do!!

Its an SP game, i play all my sp games on high fidelity 30 fps mode, everything runs great. Once you go 60fps, you can never go back.. fluidity>fidelity

PC modding will be unrestricted and infinite. You should create account on Nexus forum before launch lol. @Sach4life Fallout 4 was moddable on consoles. So gamepass version should support it as well. Just steam version will allow unrestricted 3rd party mods as well . Edited June 12, 2023 by Kazarka

Stable Framerate > High Framerate. Yeah understand the reasoning since game is massive with lot of stuff packed into it, but its still disappointing that we back to 30fps games lol. To be fair. Elden Ring was extremely buggy and was performing poorly on console at launch but still most Critics ignored them and gave it a perfect score. Incase of Starfield, game will be heavily scrutinised this time since its not 3rd party game, but a first party exclusive. Critics expectations are high from first party games today. So if its buggy at launch then it will get punished by Critics.

dylanjosh
Steam version is a no brainer. Skyrim was so much more enjoyable for me because of mods.

So i checked that some nexus forum mod creators now transferring mods to Bethesda mods launcher for console users. Around 5000 mods are transferred including some NSFW. So i think Bethesda is opening but their own launcher to some 3rd party mods. Interesting. Only mods you will not find are big expansion pack mods with full questlines and landscapes due to memory limitations on console i think. Most of the good graphics mods aren't there either. Bethesda must be opening their launcher for mods and things might be getting better but the gulf is way too big right now. AnK
Mods on consoles are pathetic. FO4 mods on PS4pro gave me a lot of problems + the trophies don’t unlock. So I ditched them. But the problem is that Bethesda & even CD project red have very bad QOL features. I am doing so much inventory management that it gets pathetically annoying. I home inventory management is better in future games so that I don’t require mods.

Ya major graphics mods not allowed as they can affect game performance on console, but there are some reshade mods which adds some bloom and some minor graphical tweaks on consoles. That said one modder added FO4 60fps mod which Bethesda used to add 60fps mode in SX update of FO 4 lol. Hopefully we can see similar miracle again
gamer_adi
4999 too expensive, i will most prolly play on gp, and buy the game a couple years down the line at discount. If anybody still gonna get it on steam, i can help you guys get it at 4k, upi me 4k and use my inventory to get 5k...

They even have collector’s edition without a physical disc. Following Sony’s footsteps. Edited June 12, 2023 by Vamos
