You still can't use SKSE, ENB or any mods that rely on them.

Ya but incase of Starfield, modders will be getting updated version of Creation engine kit. SKSE are old and limited to old Bethesda games.

Bethesda is under MS now, im sure they will make Creation engine kit 2.0 mods compatible with Steam and Windows store.  You have to remember Bethesda was independent when Skyrim and FO were released and supporting Windows Gamepass version for mods wasn't their priority.

We havnt seen any info on how mods will be supported for Starfield. They have not released any info regarding new Modding kit for Starfield.

I guess these stupid shills/fanboys from each side just won’t cut this stupid crap ever in down pulling something good on the other side.

Some of the reasonings & logics being given on Twitter about why a certain thing should be a certain way is just bafflingly nonsensical.

This whole debate of console power & features were overblown out of proportion & like it or not but I blame M$ for starting it all coz they wanted to project a certain USP in the market on launch.

Game of the year written all over it .

Tough competition in GOTY category. You can't ignore juggernaut like Zelda Tears of kingdom. RE4 and Spiderman 2. So its very hard to declare GOTY this early. You also have to keep in mind that Starfield will be heavily scrutinised since its first party game. Critics and gamers expectations will be much higher. They will not ignore bugs lightly this time around as they did in past to previous Bethesda games.

The year's been crazy so far, didn't think there would be a challenger to Zelda this year, but now i am getting hyped up about starfield.

Spiderman 2, i doubt it, don't think it has a shot even if the game is great. Same fpr RE4 since it's a remake and all.

And then there's Armored Core 6.

You also have Final Fantasy XVI (After playing the demo - that game also has GOTY written all over it), Baldur's Gate 3 (If you are going after a proper RPG with choice and consequence, your gameplay affecting not only the story but the World at large, freedom to play how you want and build your character as you want etc. - this game will kill every other game releasing in that category including all Obsidian and Bethesda ones) and the ones with lesser chance but contenders nonetheless like Diablo 4, Jedi Survivor, Hogwarts Legacy, Armored Core 6 etc.

2023 is packed with games, and the competition is going to be really tough at the end.

Having played both Divinity Original Sin 2 and Skyrim in last 6 months, this is going way overboard.

Skyrim has actual simulation in their NPCs, that's how they have wild variety of reactions to your actions.

DOS 2 RPG mechanics, I would say are more similar to Obsidian games. You take narrative decisions, who you want to kill or spare, that kinda stuff.

Still both Larian and Obsidian are way above CD Project games where complexity of choices is not as impressive. Feels way more scripted. Currently doing Skyrim and Witcher 3 playthroughs back to back, in preperation for Starfield.

Starfield, jury is still out on how much simulation they put in the game. But when you have that, you can have NPCs doing civil war on streets, or really appreciate you, all sorts of stuff. It's also reason why their games are most janky. When you have simulation, you really cannot polish it cause you don't know which way it's gonna go.
