cyberpunk Posted September 6, 2019 Report Share Posted September 6, 2019 The movies have become such worldwide phenomenons that even if the game uses a new suit which is in the comics, people would still complain the suit doesn't look like the movie version. He's been big before MCU happened, and he will continue to be Marvel's most popular character irrespective of MCU or Avengers. And people did complain, a lot, about his E3 reveal suit. The actors are synonymous with these superheroes at this point. Spidey is different, he's been famous outside of comics for over half a century. People accept him as a character, not the actor.
