Love this boss fight, Fighting your copies with the same abilities is always fun. This fight stands out with all the destruction and 1 vs 1 player battling it out, Both using levitate and throwing stuff at each other. So rad.

And the levitate animation man, will never get tried of seeing that in motion. So naturally done here.

Optional bosses in control were some of the best.

Started this game last night as it's been in my backlog for months now.

Interesting premise but I'm having a gut feeling that the story will leave me all perplexed in the end

Gameplay mechanics are super smooth and shooting feels like Max Payne from back in the day. I'm particularly liking the cover mechanism in the game though, you just need to stand behind solid objects/ walls and shoot enemies, no sticking and crouching to cover for shooting which would have been great. Also, bullet-time is another thing that would have looked and felt great like it always did in Max Payne.

Story is BS. Takes itself way too seriously. The combat and art design in the best thing about this game.

Yep, after a while of playing I could tell the story wasn't going to be it's strong suit. Lets see how everything pans out...

Play it like a completionist.

Best bosses in game are optional.

Not a very long game. Should be able to see most stuff in 30 hrs or so.

Story is video gamey, serviceable. It's an interesting premise but i have not done much research on lore so can't say.

Played more today... one thing I don't quite like is how the game resets you after you die. Like I successfully finished a Boss Fight (killed the Boss) but got killed by a straggler enemy unfortunately and the game reset me back quite far from the room where the boss fight took place. When I returned back to the room, after spawning, the enemies returned and I had to clear the room again! Thankfully the boss didn't reappear because that would really suck if I had to fight him again!

Also, in this game combat is fun but the damage sustained from enemy attacks is pretty damn high... that health bar depletes real quick :panic:

Upgrade your Launch skill and keep investing in it. In terms of offense, it's highly useful alongside your weapon mods. Also try to get the 'Eternal Fire' mod as soon as you hit the 'Furnace Chamber' (Maintenance sector location) on the map and once you get the levitate ability. Completing a puzzle in that location would grant you this level 5 mod which has a 100% chance to refund ammo on hit.

So, played till late last night and completed it. The ending levels were very taxing with waves of enemies being spawned over and over. Made the combat very tedious. The story is a mad man's tale and think it challenged my sanity.

The best part of the game for me was during the later stages of the game where you have to

Spoiler

go through a big room puzzle. Walls, doors collapse, floors shift and it's very artistic and well designed. Also, a track by the band Poets of the Fall plays during this puzzle level which makes it even more amazing and trippy!

This track is dope:

Not playing the 2 DLCs. Think I have had enough of this game.

Time to now start God of War Saga with GoW 1 on my PS3 next. Yes, I'm new to the series!

The section where this starts playing is one of my fav. gaming memories. I think it is called the Ashtray maze.

Yes, it's called the Ashtray Maze, I just checked the level name on Google.

Had it not been for the music this level wouldn't have been what it ended up being... pure awesomeoness!

Started the game on PS5 with PS4 version disc. Finished first chapter, is the lighting same throughout entirety of game? The lighting and sudden flashes of lights in some screens is annoying for me.

Does PS5 get DLCs included as well (not the ultimate edition)?
