The performance isn't great and I can't stand the 30fps max settings. The visual difference isn't huge so rather lowered settings but smooth 60fps. The game is good so far. Also Pro goes to 20 and stays at 20 fps for 5 to 8 secs but it's better than base machines . Xbox One X looks like best version in terms of frame rate and graphics out of consoles. That's said no version is perfect. I experience hiccups when i throw gas cylinder most of the time which affects gameplay sometimes but not game breaking. STICK3Rboy Posted August 29, 2019 Report Share Posted August 29, 2019 The Black Rock Quarry area looks stunning! And like in QB, the lighting has been fantastic throughout (even though GI is not used in this). Also, the one thing that has irked me about this game is the loading time after death. Now if only someone could mod in the soundtrack from that scene into every combat encounter. That'd be awesome! Also, found this Alan Wake easter egg. MOTION BLUR - Some good news – As part of our next update (tentatively mid to late September) we’ll be providing players with an ON/OFF toggle for Motion Blur and Film Grain. This will come to all platforms. GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS - Right now, the team are looking at possible ways of improving console optimization in Control, but as you can hopefully understand, these things do take time and don’t happen at the press of a button (as much as we wish they did). We are also examining specific issues that some players have been experiencing and looking for fixes on those. When we have more info, we will be sure to let you know across our community channels. HDR - Early on in Control’s development, it was decided that HDR would not be implemented in-game. WHAT’S NEXT? - To wrap things up, we want to take this opportunity to make it clear that this is just the beginning. Next week, we hope to provide our players with an update on future content plans something we know many of you are very keen on. Stay tuned for more information on that! It's been very playable. *touchwood* It drops frame rate during those bureau alerts not main missions which means they didn't test side missions properly. Hopefully patch will fix it. The lack of enemy variety also making it very dull after a while. Every mission is pretty much go to X, kill same bunch of mobs, report back. Telekinesis is carrying the combat areas. Tommasi boss was nothing special and since then haven't encountered any boss fight. The map is quite big with decent exploration and you can also find side missions to keep you busy. Don't know but Quantum Break had better progression towards the story, more action, and a change in environment kept it fresh. Here environment is same everywhere with different filters. Don't evolve. Everything is so sparse in the game and all you do is run around killing a wave of enemies thrown at you at every single time. Haven't got bored of gameplay at the moment; so that is still keeping me in-game. Most of the side quests are fetch and read all the 5 bosses are tied to side missions. Main story-line is garbo.
