They remove HUD for presentations like this so it looks cleaner

You can change powers/weapons like that in Dishonored too. No need to go into inventory and all.  

 

This looks more polished than Dishonored's combat which was already awesome. :thumbsup:

I think Aleksis stays dead because in one segment where he used the rewind function to re-spawn the enemies which were killed were not there. Just a wild guess and I can be wrong.

oh yeah. could be. So, she HAS to kill you to reset the loop. But, what if you kill her before killing the main guy of that loop? Unless, its impossible to kill her if you are still in the of some other bad guy.

I doubt but let's hope for the best. Next year said to be GOW year so this maybe by the end of this year or beginning of the next year.

I don't see HZD releasing this year either. Most likely Q1 2022

  • As Colt, the only chance for escape is to end the cycle by assassinating eight key targets before the day resets.
  • Learn from each cycle - try new paths, gather intel, and find new weapons and abilities. Do whatever it takes to break the loop.
  • You’ll be hunted by your rival Julianna, who can be controlled by another player. So if you’re feeling devious, you, too, can step into Julianna’s stylish sneakers and invade another player’s campaign to kill Colt. The multiplayer experience is completely optional, and players can choose to have Julianna controlled by AI within their campaign.

You don't have to kill Colt as Julianna if you don't want to. The devs mentioned you can also help him by showing him the way to a target or just troll him by disguising yourself as a regular enemy and follow him around.

 

Julianna is optional AI/other player whose aim is to disrupt your plans. 

 

If you die, the enemies will re-spawn while you will keep your stuff and gained intel/way to proceed better next run. There are also some powers that let you rewind back (twice) after/before you are dead to avoid starting whole mission again. Check from minute 3.

kill all 8 before the day resets?! ok, thats too hardcore. yeah, this game will be a time sink. Pretty interesting concept.

Think just that particular mission will reset. Each mission has x target goal. If you kill and escape, mission is over. If you die 3 times, mission will reset. You can gain more chances if you kill AI/other player Julianna.

Yeah, pretty cool fun concept. You can play solo or let your friend or random person take control over Julianna if you are up for the PvEvP challenge.

  • Once you get through the prologue, the entire island (and the entire day) are open to you.
  • You’ll be able to jump between times of day and districts of Blackreef whenever you choose.
  • There’s no timer for you to keep an eye on.
  • Time will only pass when you finish what you’ve set out to do in a district, but you can only visit one district per time period.
  • It’s completely up to you how you explore. Say, for instance, that you start a new day, but you know there’s something you want for a future attempt that can only be found at the very end of the day.
  • You can choose to skip past the first three time periods, and head straight to your objective for this cycle.
  • If it was a specific weapon or ability you were after, you’ll be able to spend Residuum to keep it for the future. If it was intel, well… knowledge is power in DEATHLOOP.
