Launched at the same price as previous gen. So, nah, it's Apple pricing, but definitely not more expensive than their last gen. It's not that costly in the US like in India, with student discounts and trade ins. Been a Windows user, but Macs are just so much more reliable these days compared to the resource hog and super invasive Windows 10. And they are built to be durable.
