You can update, just download the 1.1.4 firmware file (iphone1,1_1.1.4_4a102_restore.ipsw) and restore it using iTunes. Then run ZiPhone (IMO ZiPhoneWin-2.6b is still the best) to unlock + jail break it again.

So I dont have to downgrade it first ?

Registered for a Paypal A/C, linked it to my CC and confirmed my CC.

If I need to pay for any stuff I buy, do I need to add funds or can pay directly.

Whenever I choose add funds, the only option I am getting is for adding from an US Checking A/C.

Dont add funds. You can directly pay. The charge will show up on your credit card statement.

I want to connect my XBOX 360 to my Sony home theatre which does not have optical input. So to get true 5.1 surround sound, what do I do? Do new Sony DVD players would have ports for my existing speakers? Or is there anything cheaper I can buy to connect my speakers to XBOX 360 - digitally?

I have to buy a good smart-phone/PDA which can run on Reliance CDMA network. I will be using it mainly for checking emails, listening to music and occasionally playing games. If its a dual-sim phone, I couldnt ask for more...

Can anyone please suggest some models... I can wait for a couple of months too, so if anyone has the knowledge of any upcoming models, please post the same...

Thanks!!

I think Reliance has tied up with HTC for their Windows Mobile smartphones / PDAs on CDMA in India.

Thanks dude!!

Ok, I just googled the models. They have launched two models P3000 and S720. Btw, never heard about HTC phones. Are they good enough?
