Somebody Posted September 11, 2008 Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 ^^ i just went thru quite a few stores and looked at 26" and 32" LCDs coz i'm planning to buy one too. well, the 26" LG (26lg30r) sells for around Rs. 27k and has 15000:1 dynamic contrast ratio(DCR) and 5ms response time(RT) . It looks fine and has better specs than similar samsung and sony models. the samsung had only 5k:1 DCR and 8ms RT. the sony has 15k:1 DCR and 8ms RT. but lots of the GI members here are suggesting that i buy the samsung or sony coz lg aint that good. the 32" LG (32LG30R) sells for around Rs. 37k and has similar contrast ratio and response times. both these lg lcd tv's have way better specs than the samsung 32" ones available. the sony 32" is fine but a little more expensive. i might end up buying the 32LG30R. still deciding. hope this helps Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
