Javs
Sorry I was replying to javs who wrote that he couldnt get HD quality with a VGA cable which was an incorrect statement. As far as your questions go it depends on your budget. Personally I would recommend VGA over HD component but its again almost impossible to spot the differance in quality. VGA will give you more options on resolution though. Handy if you use a monitor instead of a LCD TV. ok i read the link that castiel posted, perhaps i was misinformed. thanks for sharing. Aftrunner
Hey I need to buy a pair of good heaphones. Willing to spend about 5-6k on them. Would be used with my PC and would be handy if they worked with the 360 as well (although thats not necessary). Only used for games and movies. Would prefer to buy local as I would like the option of a warranty. And a long cable would be excellent Is there anything specific anyone here would recommend? Chandranil
I have a NTSC-J xbox360 which was brought from the US..it has a manufacturing date of feb 08..its a falcon model and has philips-benq drive..recently,i am experiencing some probs with the drive..its not reading the discs properly..it either says--"plz put the disc in xbox360 console" or "unplayable disc"...but it reads the same disc after 5-6 retries..the discs are quite new and scratchless.my question to the experts is:-- 1)what is the problem with my drive? 2)Is the problem repairable?..then please suggest me such name.. 2)Are the drives console locked or i can take another drive from other consoles(may be RROD ones sold here) and put it inside and use it instead? PLZ help..i dont want to send the console back for repair there..its very costly to send the thing abroad and bring it back.. thanx in advance for the help.. strategy
1. whats the largest size TFT screen available? (inches) - (is there anything bigger than a 24"?)2. is it HD compatable? 3. can i connect it to my 360 using a hd vga component cable? if yes, please provide a link to the product page! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- well, if i can get a 26" TFT monitor, i'd be happy with that.. cause thats like half the price of a lcd tv dude There are quite a few models available in the market there is a 28" by viewsonic , 26" by acer, 24 inch by AOC....but all these are TN (twisted nematic) panel so its not recomended(fast responce but less viewing angle , less colour, less viewing angle ,etc. The only good models are available from manufacturers like LG , Dell, and Apple LG 24"one is around 25K nad model no. L245wp or L246wp ....these are MVA panel with very good brightness , low lag , great viewing angles, vibrant colours!!Has HDMI, component , VGA inputs so reccomended!! Dell 24"one is around 34K Model no.Dell 2408 ultrasharp its also MVA panel but not recommnded for gamers cause of gosting, but still its a very good monitor and has very good colours and brightness!has HDMI input , VGA , component! Lastly 23"Apple is S-IPS panel which is the best LCD made on this earth!!!IF only you can afford one! best colours, best viewing angle , best blacks, etc!! 27"and above are available by Apple and Dellbut they are too expensive !! Pretty soon any game disc will become non-readable, got something to do with the lens alignment or something - I'm not sure though.

If I upgrade to a 512K plan will I see a substantial improvement to that?? i've 256k plan from bsnl, and I'm able to play most of the games without lag. COD4, halo 3 works like a charm - but Gears 1 used to give me problem at times. I still think it should be ok, I was able to play gears 2 horde with it and saints row 2 co-op as well.
