Bharathz
It should not take more than 5 mins!! but if PC is messed up it will take more time!!
Aftrunner
This is probably a stupid question but how do you add your gamercard to your siggy?
Keyofx
You'll need to register at mygamercard.net and get the html code. They've got some fancy designs to choose from. You can also see where you stand on leaderboards by game/country/whatever else. Â Get the html snippet and paste it here: Â My Controls ---> Edit Signature

For two months I have been offline because router was in another room and I was too lazy to do something. Today with a little googling I find out I can share my PCs internet connetion with the Xbox. Â Anyway I upgarded from the stone age to teh sexy new NXE, so while I am here one more question. The GoW2 map pack code I have the ones I can download, are those maps playable offline or on horde offline?

I'm not sure about the map pack but I'm pretty sure you should be able to play it offline as well  How does the connection sharing work exactly? Bulovski
the map packs work offline.
Aftrunner
Ah good will download the map pack tommorow then. Is horde also playable on that? Offline I mean. Also whats the size of the pack. Â The connection sharing is fine. What you do is connect the 360 with the network cable to the PC. PC is already connected via Wifi to router. Tick the box that says share this connection in your wifi status. And voila. Edited December 5, 2008 by Aftrunner
Keyofx
^^ I SEE Â Did you come across a similar solution for mac users? Or did the site you looked at have a section for macs?
Bulovski
The map pack is 100+ megs I think - I may be confusing with the NXE. Horde can be played offline but I don't think you can add bots to help you. Check out the gears2 thread - the experts are all in there
Aftrunner
^^ I SEE Â Did you come across a similar solution for mac users? Or did the site you looked at have a section for macs? Â Yeah I think I remember seeing that as well. Lemme look for the link. Â Oh yeah! Here you go. Whole tutorial with pics and stuff. Â 100 odd megs is not so bad for the map pack will download and see myself. Edited December 5, 2008 by Aftrunner

Aftrunner
^^ NP. Â Slightly weird problem I am having now. The wirless controller I have wont turn on. When I press the guide button in the middle the lights will flicker quickly and very dimly and then go off. Tried changing the batteries still same. Any ideas what to do? Or should I start looking for a new one? Â Tried it with the console on and off still same. Wired controller works fine BTW.
Keyofx
The lights flicker and die out when your batteries are dry... Â Were they rechargeable ones by any chance? Maybe the replacements you put in were out of juice too?
Aftrunner
Could be, will try a brand new set tommorow. But odds are its not the batteries. The ones I had initially are barely a few days old. The ones I got after that might have been juiced out though. Â Its not the console right? Because even if the console is off the controller is still supposed to light up. Or at least keep running a ring of light. Right?

Or at least keep running a ring of light. Right? I can sense your unease, hehehe  It most likely isn't the console. I've had it happen to me as well, even after I've charged batteries overnight. I'm sure its just the batteries acting up.  /whistles Edited December 5, 2008 by keyofx
Aftrunner
Hey dont blame me. The console is like having a sick/dying dog in the house. Or like a bomb that begins to count down right after you put it under your telly. You know its gonna go but you just dont now when. Its enough to make a normal sane man paranoid. Â Just to be on the safe side I think I will seal the console in a vaccum chamber until I have tested the controller out. Keyofx
I know exactly what you mean. Just one of the occupational hazards that comes with owning a 360. For what its worth, the last time I reported an RRoD and chatted up a random female on the other end, I was told that they'll sort out non-RRoD issues coming in after the warranty period has expired on a case-by-case basis. She said it was a good will gesture from Microsoft.
