i have an unlimited 256kbps internet connection which i use for connecting 1 pc and my xbox. on an average i use 2 hrs a day to play on live

i am thinking of switching to an internet account with a download limit but a faster internet connection that can go upto 2mbps, so the question is how much data would i download if i used 2 hrs of live everyday. would a download limit of 500MB be sufficient ?

thanks.

Which ISP do u use?

Where in Mumbai can i find a good Shop/mall selling heavy duty winter wear gear. i ve tried my luck at some local malls but nothing proved to be of help :(

I don't live in Mumbai, but I can tell you one thing for sure. You get great winter wear at Wills Lifestyle. I got myself a pullover and a jacket. And prices are not at all steep. :P

guys im planning to buy a new HDTV..and i need help frm u guys..iv narrowed down to thes two--

Budget: 50k

1. Sony Bravia KLV-32V400A/B -- V series 32"(720p)-- Rs. 46k link

2. Samsung LA32A550P1 -- Series 5 32"(1080p)-- Rs. 48k link

the dilemma :D

1. iv come down to thes two since sony, samsung r the best companies for LCDs or so iv heard. im not very keen on lg etc.

2. samsung one is Full HD whereas sony is HD ready. but then iv heard the difference is barely visible for a 32'.

im heading for dubai in about 10 days, so i might get the tv frm der..need to make the right choice, pls help!

Have a Samsung myself. Its absolutely gorgues so I would say go with that.

But TBH both those tellys are pretty good and whichever one you buy you wont regret it.

Oh and if you plan on ever connecting a PC to the telly go with Full HD. Even if its 32", trust me.

Go with Sony.. I have heard it is better than samsung and at 32'' inches, there is almost no difference between full HD and HD ready

Arjun, between these 2 Samsung is better with 1080 native resolution where as sony has 768 native resolution with 1080p playback support.

What makes the choice difficult is, Bravia 2 engine in Sony TVs. Bravia chipset > any other chipset out there.

Still I would recommend Samsung, if you must choose between these two.

no man 500 mb wont be enough at all.. you need at least 4 - 5 gb limit imo..

really ?? that much for 2 hrs gaming every day!!!

right now i am using a tata connection unlimited 256 kbps which is also costing me 750 rupees per month..but its slow like a tortoise.....

MTNL plan :-

DSL 749

256Kbps

upto 2Mbps

5 GB

Rs. 749/-

thats an MTNL plan i am planning to switch to if it would take 5gb

also there is another plan...

DSL 399

256Kbps

upto 2Mbps

1 GB

Rs. 399/-

thanks in advance
