a5hr1th
And dude, Ashish, you don't need the DVI-HDMI cable, coz the BenQ E2200HD has a native HDMI port

srik
Hi all I m planning to buy benQ E2200HD 1080p lcd monitor. I wanna know that- 1) Which hdmi cable i ll need to join it with my ps3? 2) Which is best n most affordable cable present in market? 3) How much i ll cost? Plz answer guys. Thanx i bought this monitor recently, it has native support for hdmi buy a hdmi -hdmi cable (male-male) i got 1 for 300 bucks (1.5m) its pretty gud i felt the pic quality is good, pretty neat for gaming... tho i hav to say, the build quality and plastics could hav been better. its a TN film, so viewing angles are ok.. not so great i bought my monitor for 12,250 in SP rd. (B'lore) edit: play-asia has hdmi cables starting from 250, and the shop guy i bought the monitor quoted 500 bucks for hdmi cable, for some reason i didnt buy there, just went to some other shop outside and he had hdmi cables for 300, 600.. got the 300 one. Rohan K
Oh that sounds nice. I will get a Dell discount on that too. Will call and see what they quote me. BTW does the Dell 209 have USB ports on it as well? What about the veiwing angles? Nop no usb ports on this one bro , Again this is a monitor so the viewing angles are not that great if you ask me , i guess the angle is 45 on either side for decent viewing. i think there is a post below for dell 24 inch monitor from a5hr1th. The model he is talking about is the next in line after this one. the price for that is 18,500 ( Dell executive told me ) Anybody please let me know when is the next GI meet for Banglore Chapter. Regards, Rohan
a5hr1th
@Rohan K: I was talking about this monitor, Dell It retails for 250$, so that comes to about 14,000 bucks including any taxes or anything as such. My bro's getting it for 9.5-10k from his friend who works in Dell

Rocky
Hi Guys, I am looking to build my Home Theatre setup .. i have a PS3 and a LCD TV (HDMI connected) .. i plan to buy a HDMI capable AV receiver (Onkyo or Sony) this will enable me to play games with good sound output .. Next step is that i want my movies and songs to also look good and sound good .. i am planning to build a HTPC (Home Theatre PC)which I will place next to my PS3 and connect it to my AV receiver .. I have seen some sites on the web which suggest decent setups for a HTPC with HDMI capabilities .. since this will be around a 30k investment .. i want to be sure .. i am a bit skeptical over sound .. my HTPC will output sound to my AV receiver over HDMI .. has anyone got this setup or has any idea about how good this is in practice .. Ne0
Hi Guys, I am looking to build my Home Theatre setup .. i have a PS3 and a LCD TV (HDMI connected) .. i plan to buy a HDMI capable AV receiver (Onkyo or Sony) this will enable me to play games with good sound output .. Entry level AVRs will just have hdmi pass through. You will need to buy an optical cable seperately and connect it to the AVR from your PS3 for sound output. Hope you know that. Tyler
@Rocky, here's my setup... my HTS (Sony) has an optical in. My TV is connected to my PS3 via HDMI. PS3 sound output goes to the HTS via optical. Of course you'll need the required cables - an HDMI and an optical.

playstation
Hi guys, i came across this article on credit card security and online shopping . its on sify.com its says Online shopping is growing by leaps and bounds. If you are an avid online shopper, exercise a few simple checks. When you are asked to enter your personal details during the payment process - such as your credit card number - make sure that you are on a secure Web site. There should be a tiny padlock icon on your screen, and the Web address should start with https rather than just http - the 's' signifies that the Web site is secure. is that https thing true? coz i checked playasia website and it does not have that s http://www.play-asia.com/
