Bulovski
Bought a Canon Powershot 590IS last year for about 9k. Its pretty decent. Not sure what the new models are though. how's the battery life and optical zoom and pic quality?
Aftrunner
how's the battery life and optical zoom and pic quality? I use rechargeable cells that I got for free with the camera and the battery life is very good. Pretty happy with the picture quality too. It also records video, it wont replace your video recorder but its very handy if you dont have a video recorder at certain times. Video quality is pretty decent too but it takes a lot of space on the mem card. I can try to post some pictures I took with it if you want. It would be a pain though cause most of them are about 3MB each and compression doesnt play nice with the quality. Edit. Its pretty easy to use as well FWIW. lastAvenger
I'm in a bit of dilemma regarding Nintendo DS. I'm getting a free Nintendo DS [ First Gen ] with lots of games, a cousin of mine, she doesn't play with it anymore. I'm wondering whether to take that or get a DSi or DS Lite. I mean one is free and the other one will cost me :s
Aftrunner
Dont waste 6 grand for a slightly brighter screen.

Chances are you'll lose interest quick, so first see if it's your kinda thing and then decide if you want to invest more.
lastAvenger
^ I already had DS Lite earlier and I liked it. I think I will just get the old one for now. After all free is free

_Hellsboy_
Guys I tried registering my console on xbox.com but it says " First correct the following errors and click submit Note: Our couriers do not deliver to P.O. Aftrunner
I am thinking of buying an entertainment cabinet to put under my telly. Telly is wall mounted so all the cabinet will need to contain is the Xbox, PS2, STB and options for future console purchases. Would also help if it has a CD rack inbuilt. Where to buy it from in Delhi and what would be the expected cost?
Bulovski
Cross the road from your office and there's a furniture shop. Look there. Copy the design. Do not buy since it's an expensive place. Go to Kirti Nagar - get it made. If you're splurging on the wood you'll get it in 10k. If you're going with board or particle wood you should be done in 6k. Also go to Furniture Bazaar (the one in Sahara) and Home Town (Great India Place Noida) - both have good selections at reasonable prices. And finally there's a place inside South City (Furniture Mart me thinks) which has 10-15 furniture shops. You should get a decent deal there. Thx Both India and Australia have the same power supply, 220V AC @ 50 Hz. I recommend original Nintendo accessories but logic dictates that even if you get a fake GBA SP charger locally(instead of the fake charger you want to buy from Dealextreme), it should work fine. lastAvenger
^ I would have preferred original too. I can't find them anywhere :/ I checked eBay and they just have it for DS Lite
arun360
In that case, fake chargers are available across all grey markets in Bangalore.

I am too in search for a decent cabinet, in Kirti Nagar/Home town you can find some really decent looking 'Chinese' cabinets, they are moderately priced and match the needs as well.
