I've now decided to change my room (in my house) and get a big tv,probably use the tv we already got in living room (52") and get a big one for there.Or just get a new 42 incher in my room.will go for hunt in a week. rahul Posted October 9, 2009 Report Share Posted October 9, 2009 (edited) If you are going to upgrade your ram to 4gb then 64bit.do check your apps compatibility first.otherwise 32bit. 13$ more i think would be for an original cd instead of a download from msdn.but not sure. K i've decided to go for 32bit and just the Upgrade without the disc. So next i can just download the OS from MS and use the key rite? playstation Posted October 9, 2009 Report Share Posted October 9, 2009 (edited) Hey guys, my dvd writer-Samsung it's again giving problems( it is not reading blank dvds automatically and when writing it is writing at a very slow speed (about 328 kbps and even after that i found nothing on the disc ......but it is still reading orange box game disc)... i had got it fixed earlier as it was under warranty and it is still under warranty i will take it again but they make u wait 20-25 days .....i am planning to get a dvd writer from singapore through a relative can you suggest me a good one and i hope the prices are similar...the reason i dont want to buy it from here as i really feel dvd writers here are not good quality ...the lite-on dvd writer i had purchased earlier died soon too ....so please suggest me a good brand internal sata writer to get from there. BR drives are about 60-100USD. Neither of them are worth it IMO. Esp since you already have a PS3. I dont know why your DVD drive crapped out but I have used a Samsung for well over a year now without problems. And even if you get it from outside you will have problems sometime. The lens can only take so much wear and tear. Better get on locally so at least you will have warranty. Anyway got a question of my own. Do Amazon ship Blu ray movies to India? A friend wants to buy the Planet earth 4 disc set which is going pretty cheap ATM and he has a guy in customs who can help him there.
