Noctis Posted October 21, 2009 Report Share Posted October 21, 2009 If his receiver can't do HDMI audio, he still has to use the optical out for 5.1 sound. Yeah thats the problem. I have a separate HT system and digital/coaxial input is the only way to receive 5.1 channel audio. Anyway thanks for all the info. Should be available on Lamington Road. These things are of questionable quality so make sure the shopkeeper is okay with you returning the cable if it doesn't work.
