Bulovski Posted October 27, 2009 Report Share Posted October 27, 2009 ^^ for about 5 seconds. but it's still iffy. would suggest keep the tv separately on a power outlet, and put ps3 and set top box on UPS. it will not fry the TV then. and unless you have power back up in your building which kics in a few seconds - UPS is useless. muin Posted October 29, 2009 Report Share Posted October 29, 2009 guys need help in buying a ps3 ...........................its from IVG only (link) the guy says PS3 works fine with all games except UC2 for any no of hrs. I played Batman AA at a stretch of 8hrs with no problem last week. Whenever i start UC2, the ps3 turns off with blinking red lights. I have my PS3, the aforementioned TV and tata sky STB connected to a 4 year old (with recently changed battery) microtek 600va UPS and it works fine for a few minutes.. never tested how long it supports though cuz i generally switch all things off within 2-3 minutes... Theoretically though, assuming that the 3 devices load the UPS to its full output, it should give you a backup of around 3-4 minutes... Its not a problem with the website coz I tried to access it through my ps3 and it worked. The browser Im using is Opera. Ive tried to open it on IE aswell but it still doesnt work. john117 Posted October 31, 2009 Report Share Posted October 31, 2009 Ok heres a question for veteran steam users .. for the first time i preordered a game on steam so I am not sure how preloading of game works .Currently its showing just this when will steam start preloading the game so that its available on 4th nov , is it something automatic or i will have to start the preload manually whenever it becomes available.
