Aftrunner
So any idea what the cost is per foot/per meter over here in Delhi?
Invictus
^^ 80 feet? Is Godzilla guarding your router? There was a *cough* miscalculation in the length required and I ended up getting a VERY VERY VERY VERY long (as you know by now) lan cable. To look at the brighter side, I am perhaps now prepared for the worst situation, a house move might have to offer. PS : I just dont like to rely on wifi for gaming/streaming. I like my pr0n stream to be unhindered, without any hiccups. thnx.

Aftrunner
Hey can anyone tell me about a halfway decent free image editing program. I have a huge (22MB) image which is sort of a squarish shape and I need to edit that to make a poster type image. Would help if it was noob friendly. Bulovski
Monitor trouble. I have a Samsung SyncMaster 920NW - about a year old. For the last couple of days I've been getting a weird problem that the display just goes blank. Everything's fine - the video is running, but the screen goes. I switch it on and off and the display comes back, but goes off soon. I am running the display at the recommended resolution - 1440x900. Alternately you can try Paint.net If online is your thing then try Picnik
Aftrunner
Ok a slightly different question. So I used Gimp and resized my picture to a more poster like size (6000x7600) but in the resizing the aspect ratio had to be compromised so the picture looks a little stretched. Is there any workaround to that or will I have to cut out parts of the picture to make it work?

When it asks you to enter the new width and height don't click on the chain link next to the 'ratio' options. Leave it the way it is in the image below.
