saanil
Hi Guys, Noob question alert!!! Does GTA: Episodes from Liberty CIty (EFLC) include the original GTA4? As far as I could gather there are 3 versions - GTA 4, GTA 4: EFLC and there is GTA 4: Complete Edition. I currently have the second one i.e. GTA 4:EFLC - Does this have the original GTA 4? If not is it fun or does it make sense to play GTA 4 first? Basically I want to know if GTA 4:EFLC contains the original GTA 4 game?
ALPHA17
Basically I want to know if GTA 4:EFLC contains the original GTA 4 game? No, the copy you have only contains the two additional content packs released for GTA IV by RockStar (The Ballad of Gay Tony and The Lost and the Damned). All the stories are exclusive to each other so you can play them in any order you desire.
saanil
So it is not necessary to play them in any order? I mean is there a requirement to play GTA 4 first and then move on to this ? (As there might be some connection between the characters? Playing EFLC first and then playing GTA 4 is ok right?
Heaven Angel
You don't have to play the main game before playing EFLC. Basically I want to know if GTA 4:EFLC contains the original GTA 4 game? No. Playing EFLC first and then playing GTA 4 is ok right? Yes. (As there might be some connection between the characters? Playing EFLC first and then playing GTA 4 is ok right? If you intend to play all of them, then I would recommend playing in the order they came - GTA4, TLOD, TBOGT. The stories are not related, but the characters make 'guest appearance' kind of in each other's stories. Also, at least on the PS3, TBOGT is far ahead in terms of graphics than GTA4 and TLOD, and more fun too, so after playing that you might not be able to go back to the other two. Dani Pedrosa
hey guys. i've a HP W1707 LCD monitor with 1440X900 resolution. it supports HDCP and has DVI-D and VGA ports. LCD supports 1280X720p on DVI port [tested using nvidia control panel], but doesn't support 1920X1080p 25Hz on DVI. [it works when i use VGA and select 1920X1080 60Hz] i am trying to connect my PS3 to it using HDMI to DVI converter/adaptor. it its not working I've connected a CRT TV using Component cables and HDMI cable to my LCD [using HDMI to DVI adaptor] when i turn on my PS3. it shows [on CRT TV] 'hdmi is detected..... etc etc. please select yes to set hdmi as output'. when i press Yes. CRT TV goes blank but nothing appears on the LCD monitor. [still shows check video cable] i've tried holding the power button until ps3 sounds a second beep [while turning it on] to reset the settings. but it still doesn't display anything on the LCD. what should i do ? Kazekage Gaara
Hey guys, A friend of mine has an LED HDTV in his living room and he is interested in getting a sound bar for it. He checked out 2 Phillips sound bars (a smaller and a larger version) but didn't like the output. He then checked out one of those Intex soundbars, costing around 11k, and he really liked it. He was thinking of buying it but thought of asking my advice first, thinking there might be better sound bars out there that are really good and worth the price He's okay with spending 10 to 15k on it, may be more if the soundbar is really worth it I made a search here before posting this question and found out this.... http://www.indianvideogamer.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20018&page=970&hl=soundbar#entry1157913 Now that is a sexy looking sound bar (Samsung). Am not sure whether it's really good or worth it's price or if there are any better ones available out there. Please help us out in selecting one of the best sound bars out there. Thanx a lot in advance guys
niks_flashbullet
Hey guys, am planning to buy a psp. I am confused between psp 3004(wifi) & psp e1004(no wifi), though i doubt i would find 3004 as it is discontinued. Please suggest which model is better. Also if someone can confirm whether there is any interlacing or ghosting issue in the 3004 model Do not suggest a 3ds or vita, can't buy due to budget constraints. Thanks in advance Edited May 15, 2013 by niks_flashbullet
The Wolfy among us
But what are you going to do with a psp now? Play 2-3 year old games? Absolutely no new games are coming for the psp now.
niks_flashbullet
New or old games doesn't matter, there are some great games on the psp that i want to play. My friend is selling a used psp 3004 for 3k-4k, i might get that. I just wanted to know which one would be better. So you can't enjoy any other source like a media player or your DTH through this system, specially DTS or Dolby. Unless your TV is capable of ARC and have some extra HDMI inputs. Also the ohm rating for the receiver is generally 2 ohms, making it impossible to upgrade the speakers in future. Look at the basic HTIB deals from denon and onkyo and buy a blu ray player along with it. It would cost you between 25-30k .
Pushy
he has a Sony 32" LED TV which this HTS will be attached to, only that itself, no extras, so now?
The Wolfy among us
E290 is a very good system for that price. How do you intend to output sound from the TV to the HT, say for example when you are watching tv on a DTH? Does the tv have an optical out?
sixthsense
See the TV specification online or ask any sony dealer, if the TV has ARC and the HTS also supports ARC then you are set. BTW ARC = Audio return channel , It returns the sound through the HDMI out from the HTS that goes in the TV.
