^ If you are spending that much, look at the BRAINWAVZ M1. Probably one of the best earphones to kickstart your IEM journey.

Alternately, if you want something more bass oriented, check out the V.SONIC VSD1S.

i was hoping someone would bring up the brainwavz m1

yup, bass oriented it is, but never heard of v sonic one u mentioned

so, ES18 and brainwavz it is, now, amazon or fk? m preferring amazon, is it ok?

Yes, Amazon has the official store for both of them.

V.SONIC is a lesser known brand compared to BRAINWAVZ but has some interesting models in that price-bracket, really worth a shot. I used their GR02 Bass Edition IEM's which were superseded by the VSD1S.

i need a set of "precision" screw drivers i.e the kind used to open up small things mobiles, laptops etc, mainly need the-more-the-merrier sizes of "phillips" head screw driver and the bits should be durable and shouldnt blunt out/bend or warp after extended use..

You can get better ones, but this has served me well for over 8 years now.

^ Your options are pretty limited by the volume control in-line requirements but you can look at the following,

  • mi Pistons 3
  • SoundMAGIC E10S / E50S
  • Sennheiser Momentum IEM

^ mi Pistons are compatible with all devices.

The SoundMAGIC units come with a switch to change their compatibility as per my knowledge.

Sennheiser sells different variants for different devices.

People looking for cheap IEMs should check out KZ ATE. Best sounding under 1k. However, they are pretty big and need to be worn over the ear.

tis?

where to buy?

warranty?

I am getting a new case/cabinet for my PC as my current one's usb and headphone port are dead. Am getting this iBall Axton case for 1.3k. I think it looks reasonably nice and not cheap and tacky.

I know you guys would suggest going for a branded cabinet like Antec but my PC specs are so low and outdated that it doesn't really deserve a more expensive cabinet.
