I currently have a "Smart Shopper" ICICI Bank debit card which works perfectly fine literally everywhere. Steam, Paypal, stripe, namecheap, tons more. Never had any issues with it. I recently got a new EMV enabled debit card from ICICI Bank with the following attached to it: In view of the recent guidelines issues by RBI, and to make your Debit Card transactions more secure, we are replacing your existing Debit Card with a new ICICI Bank EMV Chip Debit card. The thing is, once I activate this, my current debit card will be blocked. I called the ICICI customer care and they did say it should work "internationally" but couldn't comment about stuff like Paypal. Ph3N0M Posted December 24, 2016 Report Share Posted December 24, 2016 I had been getting the same error on my laptop, then some more serious slowdowns occured last month which forced me to rebuild Windows (or whatever they call it when they delete all the applications while keeping personal files undeleted and reinstall Windows) and it has worked fine since then. I tried to upgrade to Windows 10 during the free period but it didn't work on my laptop for some weird reason. Now, I'm not going to pay for that sh*t.
