Like the immortal line by Ash in Alien, my society has decided “I can’t lie to you about your chances, but you have my sympathies”

Bought the game and so far loving the game. Love the open world, its jam packed with lot of stuff to do. Combat is simple so far but fun. Im really enjoying puzzles as well which i dont like in games that much :P

Welcome to the club. One of the most underrated games this year. Critics just don't get excited by such games as they are bored of the open world structure because they have to play EVERY GAME that is released, (Miles, Valhalla, Watch Dogs, Tsushima). But if people with jobs/school who only play 1-2 games at a time  appreciate a well made game even if it borrows a lot from one of the best game of the last generation, BOTW.

No next gen system here atm. So one X.

Looks real nice and clean and locked 30fps. No tearing, crashes or anything like Valhalla. Installed on external SSD and it takes 15 secs to load from menu to game compared to internal which takes 26 secs. I would love to play on Next gen at 60 fps but no access yet. So it is what it is :P

And game supports cross saves means you can continue your progress on pc or ps4 or 5 as well but you have to buy game again there. So cross save but no cross buy.

It is the best Ubisoft game this year imo

Some crticized for getting inspired from Botw. Wtf.

Naa. This doesn't issues like Valhalla. Its most polished Ubisoft open world game.

AC Odyssey was my fav AC game after AC2 and Brotherhood and same team made this, so you know i will love it

f**k it. You guys convinced me to pick this up. Waiting for amazon to deliver my copy with all DLCs included. Can't wait to play this on PS5:dance: Since this looks like best blend of Fable/Zelda which i adore.

The truth is this game has taken many  features from Zelda and some are improved over it. Visual being the most common aspect for comparison.

I say both can be enjoyed individually. For one who didn't/can't play Zelda and wanted to will get a treat here.

The last mission will take a test of your abilities and patience. Not in a bad way but it'll be a long and hard journey. Atleast I felt as I was playing on hard.

Some good puzzles, lot of enemies and a big twist in story.

I don't how you say that it has improved features with so much authority without ever playing it. I see lot of people saying this for genshin and this one none of whom have played botw. It's legitimately one of the best games ever created and such statements shouldn't be tossed around like candy.

Nope, i stay with my statement. The improvements can be seen. Try either of the game first and then reply. Not dissing on any game.

I have played both - BOTW's whole story plus all the shrines but haven't finished fenyx yet (14 hours in). And I can safely say that some aspects of fenyx are better than BOTW, like,

  • Weapon and gear system is better, it has perks and upgradability and no degradation/breaking.
  • The abilities are so fun to climb up to. Because they add fun new ways to tackle puzzles and combat.
  • Speaking of combat, it is so much more fun that zelda. You can still be creative with your abilities and approach combat in a varied way.
  • There is no rain to f**k with you while climbing surfaces.
  • The smaller puzzles are much more enjoyable than the "korok" seed puzzles. (The discoverability of those seeds was better in BOTW)
  • The story overall has been much more engaging and enjoyable than the snooze fest in BOTW.
  • Similar to last point, the characters feel more fleshed out.

I'll add more as they come to mind.

BUT, having said all that, Breath of the Wild is a masterpiece and this game is nowhere as good as that because of the sheer wonderment and joy BOTW can instill in you while playing it. I have never felt more compelled to explore a world than in BOTW. Fenyx just improves some aspects of BOTW.

Yea, completed the game. It was fantastic till the end. Smooth ride, end was bit of a hustle but it's alright. Story makes up for it.

You should start playing, CP2077 is near now ;).. i think you're in good position with your wife, a gamer would understand his partner gamer. But not if you both want to play on one platform and different games. That'd be disastrous, for you

I totally loved this game until I stopped. Will continue tomorrow. ?

And yeah come Thursday it’s only Cyberpunk. So this will have to take a back seat. But considering how much fun i had, if CDPR give me the slightest reason, I’m jumping back in at a moment’s notice
