ZooZoo Posted December 6, 2020 Report Share Posted December 6, 2020 Might be a long shot but this might be the best thing Ubisoft has put out in years. Granted that it lifted more than a few things from Zelda but in that regard, every other FPS is a Doom clone. It is a refreshing change from a typical ubisoft games. It is decent sized but doesnt feel massive live AC games. Moreover, Story is kinda cheeky and has a pretty on the nose teenage humor but sometime that is exactly what you need after spending so many months in lockdown. Finally someone at Ubisoft studio found out that colors do exist and then went crazy on whole color palate. Just loving the vibrant world and light hearted story. Its more like a disney cartoon than a serious LOTR story. I've stopped playing Valhalla as it kinda got stale inbetween, even though it is one of the better AC games. WhiteWolf Posted December 7, 2020 Report Share Posted December 7, 2020 (edited) This game does exploration much better than AC games and even Ghost of Tsushima that i played recently. You explore as you go with no dots or 100 question marks on map distracting you constantly. Above all no bs collectables that plague all other open world games. Game is all about finding loot, doing hidden quests and puzzles and finding legendary bosses while progressing in story. Yea, no one would think to buy all the games digitally just to play for 2 to 3 hours and review it. He does make an account per game and sell it off at half price to his viewers. But that too is a lot. Subbed him just for the lulz. He tries to link every game with PS exclusives like any typical fanboy, greek mythology it's gow copy, Feudal Japan it's copy of ghost of tsushima, post apocalyptic settings it's same as tlou. I thought maybe its the quality mode thus tried the 60FPS mode as well on PS5 but it stayed the same. I hope this is something they patch since otherwise game looks damn pretty.
